I've come to realize that the true essence of art lies in personal expression. It's not about fitting into someone else's mold or seeking external validation. It's about staying true to your vision, no matter what the critics say. That's where the magic happens!
Beautifully done Angelia and G.R. and all those who helped in the making of this video...let this inspire other artists to keep going and to never give up...Magnificent!
What an inspiring and encouraging video Angelia for all artists and creatives. It is people like you who encourage inclusion, freedom of speech and connection, which is so very important in our creative community. I am happy to know you lovely. I’ve shared your video with my community and loved the speakers. Proud of my wonderful friend Kim and Lisa, too for speaking out with you and all my lovely friends for sharing their paintings too. You are a guiding light to us all Angelia my lovely friend ❤
Amazing video, Angelia! Thank you so much for putting this all together. I’m glad you did this and I hope it helps people struggling with the negative comments. 💙
That was incredible Angelia. Very well done and said. I wish people could appreciate what is behind art just as much as what is put into it. Even the cost of it. Sharing your art is extremely personal even if it’s considered “easy”. Its a part of you and your emotions. Even if you aren’t personally touched by it, doesn’t devalue what the artist put into it. Thank you for sharing this perspective. I really appreciate it.❤
Angelia, this was just perfect. There was soo much that you put into this video and it is a beacon to guide us all. I’ll be going back to re-watch this now. Again, thank you sooo very much for inviting me to participate in this important endeavor of yours. 🤯 - Hugs, Kim ❤
Thank you for this video, and all who contributed their time and artwork to reinforce this message. You made so many valid, wonderful points that we, as artists in fluid media, don't always remember. God bless you❤
I don’t know how anyone could send in hateful comments on these art pieces. I think it’s fascinating to watch you make them and the results are incredible! Don’t ever let those haters get to you!! ❤️✌️
Very good video! I also have created many paintings using the fluid art techniques, & various techniques within it, are unknown & misunderstood. Well delivered thank you❤
For me arts is from your creative mind either it's imagination or God given talents as long we did it that we used pattern that comes to our minds and creative ideas and we did it with our bare hands it's an art. Im more appreciative to all of you whatever you did it. If it's resin or fluid art or draw , it's an art . Im appreciative to all of you maybe because im not an artist . My talent is to sing even if i don't have a good voice it's an art also 😂
Nanete your video's are art my friend, so you too are also an artist...your voice is beautiful because you are so happy to share it with us and we love to hear it...I say you have the voice of an angel...music is an art...so you have many talents...you also share your life with us...this is beautiful and I thank you for supporting all of us and your beautiful talents..
@ItsArtByDonna yeah we are all artists in many or in different forms of arts . Someday if im retired in my work I'll paint I like fluid art or resins, drawing oh it's not my talent maybe I can draw if I have pattern 😆 🙃
This video was sooo touching and much needed, Angelia! So many of us artists have had persistent self-doubt, or imposter syndrome or gotten negative or discouraging remarks knocking our confidence by unthinking people, and your inclusive, encouraging and spotlighting of the issue was done with so much heart and executed amazingly well! I've watched it a few times and I think it will really help every single person viewing so thank you from me and the art community and I'm so happy you included my art! Love n hugs and keep on shining ur light! ❤🤗🥰😍👏🏴
I enjoyed getting it out there! So much more I wanted to say but I think just enough was discussed to be able to reach that group of people it needed to. Thank you Taslima for answering my call with pictures of your art and I am appreciative of every artists that I called on to help. Not one of you said No!!! Thank you again! Keep creating!! ❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU! Appreciate this straight forward video. I was crushed as a young child when trying to draw, color or paint. I remember (I think) I colored pink elephants with purple polka dots. As an adult, I tried to take an art class at a local junior college - nope - purchased the necessary art supplies - newbie - and the instructor talked way too fast, had little patience, it rained and was a long walk to the classroom, plus I didn't know how to draw or sketch - set up for failure. - It's been over 20 years and I still have these art supplies and look at them and still feel like a failure. BUT, the very good thing is I get to see videos such as yours and have hope. I get to watch other artists' videos that encourage creativity - and learned that even using a template or traceable is still art! I'm painting and loving it so much. Yeah, I don't like some of the paintings I do, but like one amazing hands-on artist said, "It's just paint!" (The Art Sherpa) I know I can always start over. I LOVE ALL of you wonderful artistic women who inspire, encourage and send out love and light to your audience, co-artists, co-conspirators (ha). I'm an 'older' participant in this art journey. THANK YOU!
@@AngeliaBlissArt no ma’am just been crazy busy. I thought when I retired, years ago now, that I would have more time to do things I want to do but I’m busier than ever. I have only painted once in months! You’re an awesome artist no matter what people say! ❤️
I appreciate you, Angelia! Great video and encouragement for those artists struggling to overcome negativity, to master a skill, struggling with the fear of posting their art in order to receive positive responses and constructive criticism to help them learn and grow in their abilities. I have found over the years that there is always something positive I can say/offer to an artist, whether I like the particular piece of art being displayed or not. That's another way we grow as artists and as human beings. What can I find to appreciate in the art, or in the artist, or in the concept or execution of the piece being presented. Is it the color palette, the technique used, the fearlessness of the artist? Well spoken video, Angelia!
Well said, im in a very small town where its difficult to sell, yet paintings that ive done & not cared for myself, have sold to someone else. Thank God we don't all see the world the same way, life would be so boring if that were the case. Emotions, color, composition, size etc are all things that make up a painting. Not everyone will see what your seeing. Sometimes for me it is as simple as the way the colors blended. People need to just move on & quit being so critical of things they don't know or understood
Girl I am so sorry I missed the Premier, something came up and I had to deal with it. Okay, so onto the video - Holy hell that was phenomenal! Your words were profound in that they hit all of us smack in the head. We’ve all had times we felt low, that our art wasn’t “art” and that we’re just faking it til we make it. Or until we quit. If what we make elicits a response, an emotion, a feeling, some sort of ambiance or memory, then we accomplished our goal. Good, bad or ugly, it’s a journey we’ve embarked on that some understand and some don’t. But it’s truly incredible to have a tribe that does understand. You’re amazing, girlfriend and I can’t wait to meet you in just a few days. Hugs comin at ya and maybe some germs too! 😂
Thank you for this!!! I am new to fluid art…it took a lot for me to just post my art on Instagram….and I have already experienced discouraging words, lost followers, etc. It can be soul crushing! I have the utmost respect for those of you artists who keep these channels going so the rest of us can feel that somewhere out there have a tribe! ❤
Angelia, Thank you so so much for this wonderful video. It says it all! Sometimes I have some people come into my Boutique and they look at my fluid art creations and they say ''Oh I know that It's only pouring '' You can imagine how that makes me feel !!! When they have a look at the other pieces in the Boutique that were created with a palette knife or brush work , then they say '' oh well that is real art '' Then I tell them , everything in here is real art because I have created it and it came of of my imagination. You may not like everything but it is still art ! So yes let's keep on Creating and like Gina De Luca says ''Go make some Art'' On this I'm sending Hugzzzzz to all of our fellow artists 🥰🥰😘😘❤❤
Angelia, Thank you, ❤. I learn by watching you all. I think you are brave to put your art on U-Tube. I may not like everything, because it’s not my thing, but, I can appreciate the time effort and the money spent to create your art. I know first hand this is not a cheap activity. Trolls are just unhappy people who have no values. Happy pouring my friends.❤️💯😍
This is a great video and I thank you from the bottom of my heart,i have only just started learning this 5 months ago and it makes me feel happy and I paint how I feel,so my artwork is a impression of my emotions and unfortunately my family doesn’t see it as a great painting and this gets me down and makes me feel like my work is not worth anything, but to me I’m proud of what I have achieved, so you have given me the inspiration to keep going and just do what I do to make me feel happy about my artwork, I know that I’m not the best artist yet but I do some beautiful art that is just like great artist that I follow,so I’m proud that I can achieve this and hopefully one day I will get the confidence to start selling my artwork because to me it’s a expression of myself and hopefully just someone will actually see this and think it’s worth buying,so thank you for sharing this video with me 💜
The art club I belong tkjo have members of various skills beginners to professional. Many would say "Oh I tried that" . Then I did a demo at the club and they said."How did you get that result?" Then I explain about the history , chemistry, and techniques. Now I will be doing workshops for other artists. Thank you for doing this video. Fluid artists need to tell the naysayers " ok show me how you can do this"
When you first started talking and said, "We are talking about not giving..." I just new you were gonna say, "...a (rhymes with duck)". Of course, that's just because it's something I think all of the time. LOL. Good video.
Angelia, much gratitude to you for this video. I had no idea people would stoop so very low and hurl such ignorant insults. I think ENVY is a big factor.
