I’ve recently purchased a Help ‘Em Up Harness for my 90 lb Doberman with rear leg issues (atrophy in right due to surgery; when he stands, left hind leg rises up off the ground). Getting a good fitting (I bought a medium) has been tricky, the key is tucking the excess strap into the neoprene sleeves, which isn’t easy. But customer service has been very helpful (by email;). I may need to buy a new Hip Lift portion, in a Small.
Had purchased the help em up and was not impressed. The Ruffwear harness is more durable, easier to fit, and feels more substantial when lifting dog. Front portion of help em up fit my dog but rear was too big. Mind you, customer service recommended the M after sharing measurements and weight. customer service (K9 carts was not helpful).
100% this harness and the support are horrendous... always "an adjustment issue" but never a design issue... speaks volumes that they vet reviews before they allow them on their site also...
I bought a used harness. It was supposed to be conventional but turns out it is a u shaped belly band. Can you use this for a girl dog or am i out my money
It is waaaaaaay too hard to tighten this damn harness!!! For the price it should not be this difficult. You need to provide a better and more detailed video on how to tighten the slack on this harness .it is next to impossible. My dog is flailing around when I lift him:

You don't give enough information on the location of the front to avoid choking when lifting!😢 plus how to adjust it on a dog who can't stand!

It looks like the hip strip prohibits a female dog from urinating. Is that correct?

I dont want the belly band strap. So than I loise hip harness??? So confused. I have to have this clipped prior to getting it on him or no go
