- This is Booth&Mushi's reaction to Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes! Proximus looks like a very scary and dangerous antagonist! And we are seeing the descendants of Caesar from the early Planet of the Apes!
Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

The King actually looks like Bad Ape and has the same speech pattern. I spotted the Rocket look a like too! Can't wait to see this in IMAX!

This takes place 300 yrs later. I believe this might be taking place maybe 100 yrs before the crash landing of the Liberty1 (Icarus) spacecraft. In the original story, A total of five Liberty ships were built and sent to the stars. A crew of four in the Icarus were sent to a distant star travelling at near lightspeed. The crew entered hibernation for twelve months for a total of an eighteen month trip. But three months into hibernation, The Icarus collided with another Liberty ship and automatically changed course back to Earth, but were propelled 2000 yrs into the future. The fourth crew member was MaryAnn Stewart. Originally, her pod malfunctioned soon after entering hibernation. The young woman we see in this trailer is wearing a torn t-shirt and tactical pants. Not animal hides. She could be the forth crew member somehow sent back in an escape pod after the collision, or the only remaining survivor of the crew of other Liberty ship, but arrives way sooner than the Icarus. Just a theory. How cool would that be.

Hi, thankyou for reacting to Kingdom of the planet of the apes. I love the reboot trilogy Rise, Dawn and War starring Andy Serkis as Caesar❤️ They are masterpieces in my opinion and criminally underrated and unappreciated by many other people. When Kingdom was first announced i was a little skeptical but after watching the trailer numerous times i can’t wait to see it. The movie is gonna be epic. This film is set 300 years after War so all the apes we know and love Rocket, bad ape, maurice , cornelius etc are all dead. I miss Caesar ❤️😭💔. I already have a fave ape in this one it’s Noa the protagonist and ape with the eagle who doesn’t like hunting humans. I reckon he is a descendant of a descendant etc from Cornelius leading all the way back to Caesar because he looks just like him. I also love the call backs to Rise, Dawn and War with Caesars window symbol on the boat, necklaces the apes are wearing and behind king Proximus’s throne. It’s also a hundred years till the icarus crashes.

When you look at the trailer I think the girl came from a ship that has been lost and I think she’s a daughter on someone have yet to be revealed also the villain will look for technology that’s why the girl in the movie is so important

theyre not doing the astronaut thing yet. thats hopefully the next trilogy. in the original film when the ship lands its the year 3000-something, i forget the exact date. not that they have to adhere to the same exact timeline but i feel like the apes would have to be a lot more developed for the astronaut landing to have its full effect
@@z00pac that wouldn’t make sense not to make the movie without having some type of astronaut mention or anything I think the villain will try and find technology of some sort that have something to do with time travel if you pay close attention how did the villain get those metal armor around their necks ??? That can’t just come from just a rock or something it came from a piece of technology so this movie definitely going to touch on why that human so intelligent and why the villain want to capture her
@@Kingtutt414 there will be me mentions of astronauts for sure. we can see they go to some kind of space center. but no time traveller arriving in this film. they got the metal from crafting it. ore quite literally does come from rocks lol. theyve entered the bronze age

This is just my theory. I think they could do this very wrong, and they could do it very wrong by making it all about this one girl. The girl is less important compared to what she represents.
I think Noah is a sweet but misguided protagonist who hears stories of apes and humans coexisting, and sees the pictures where the monkey is in the cage, mind you, not knowing what a cage is. Humans, one of which is this girl, are beginning to mutate and evolve to overcome the virus.
The elders correctly identify this as an existential threat and identify two goals, eliminate smart humans that have mutated to be resistant to the virus, and learn what the humans knew so that they can effectively fight them. Human evolution is a threat to them and they want to nip it in the bud.
But if Noah and the humans prevail, essentially the turn that the series starts to take is Rise of the Planet of the Humans.
Humans rising up against the apes will not happen. That wouldn't make sense and would defeat the whole purpose of why ROTPOTA was made in the first place. Ceaser began an uprising because humans dominated his kind first. The humans are no primitive and weak, which is the universe punishing them for their sins against nature. Since it seems like they're going the route of the originals humans will always remain inferior to apes from this point on. Perhaps some apes will want to coexist with humans, but apes will always be dominant and humans will be more akin to pets or will eventually all die out. Mae I feel might become accepted by Noa's clan and simply live amongst apes until she dies.
Fair enough, I do see why it would be somewhat counter to the premise of the first trilogy, and also unpopular with the ape fandom. And even when I’m theorizing is like a three movie arc. Mae would not be Adam, essentially her descendants would be Adam. Because it seems like May cannot speak.
i think the apes and humans living together is deceiving. im assuming they are actually referring to post-war where apes and humans may have lived together for some time. nova was with them and they could have encountered other humans along the way
i think mae might be from a separate human colony, perhaps one that survived in some kind of fallout shelter or something and is just more educated than the average human. but its all speculation right now of course
Looks like a total banger, a little sad all the crew from the last trilogy are long gone but this looks great, hoping it’s similar quality and 2&3 because those were amazing. Great trailer tho
