I can’t imagine a world without that chorus. It’s so catchy, memorable and has been etched in my memory since the first time I heard it almost 20 years ago.
Saw these lads at Project Revolution tour, was one of the only fans who knew every single word and they threw me a guitar pick. Still one of my finest memories
Are you sure this is Post-Hardcore? I thought Fugazi, At The Drive In, Slint and Drive Like Jehu were PH as they were directly after the Hardcore bands like Minor Threat etc. or is this a UK version of Post Hardcore?
2022 and still one of my fav songs ever lucky enough to see them live times woth bullet for my valentine and at taste the chaos with the used killswitch engaged and story of the year what nights
not a let down what so ever. they've just grown musically. ideas, influences and tastes change as you get older so obviously their musical is going to develop, its still awesome. x
Forgot how amazing this song is 20 years later. That opening riff!! one of the first i learnt on guitar, and remembering going into Dawsons music store in Manchester and just playing that riff over and over as it was one of the only things i knew at the time..........that and A7X unholy confessions intro!!
+Xopher “KrazeeCriss” Dicken Where were you all these while? They are currently on their final tour and after that, they're done. Jesus, just google it dude.
Saw them in feb 2012 Leeds cockpit diff line up to the old days but always been a fan since school days!! 38 now time flys by but glad the songs stay the same and evoke amazing nostalgia and memories of better times!! 👍🏻
Just about 10 years and here I am still rocking FFAF while wearing baggy Ecko and a Southpole clothes. The 2000s will live on forever as long as I'm kicking
I've never stopped listening to Hardcore and all sub genres of EMO cmon guys its never too late to get back into it, listen loud and proud publicly, around your kids, around your girldriend, uncles, parents, just listen up!
This was my favorite FFAF song for the longest time (and is still wayyyyy up there). The opening riff sounds so perfect. It's like the sweetest, handmade ear candy.
well i went to see them on the 10th in bournemouth and they played quite alot of their older songs like, the art of american football, juneau, escape artists never die, rookie of the year, red is the new black, she drove me to daytime televison etc. so yeh quite a few, they also did a great cover of seven nation army.
Same, i saw them at Wolvo Civic on Tuesday 11th. They played a lot of there older stuff as well as some of the new. And yes the Seven Nation army cover was great
I'm completely new to this band even though I was mid teen when this song was released but for lack of better of words because I don't know the right terminology the catch or the hook you could call it that really addicting part is extremely addicting
Omg , like 18 years from now haha I was at Iron Maiden in Stockholm and FFAF were the first/pre act, and I know I loved one song by an artist but couldn't figure out the artist or the name... searched for this one, AND the track I was also searching for came as suggested?! Haha omg! - Finch but for some reason can't find the track... Good times!
Back when you could wear relaxed fit jeans and still be 'scene' Still cant get enough of the guitar interplay in this track. Shame they went to hell on the wings of that demon Hot Topic.
Fer real. Scene was around during, myspace. Scene's been a thing for a long time. People were called scenesters back in the 80's. Probably the same morons that think hipster's are new too.
I like how theres a million kids anouncing that they listen to this music. It's not an achievement. Thousands(maybe even millions) of people listen to this as well.
Same old songs... 2024. Been listening since the beginning and haven't stopped!

This song in an instant classic, loved when emo and hardcore music was so popular at the time.

Haha omg! - Finch but for some reason can't find the track... Good times!
@ITheNaTtYI Good for you dude, too many people these days would rather follow the crowd than be unique.
Hats off to you!
The song's called At your Funeral For A Friend...and It's a mix of this song and At Your Funeral by Saves the day. :)
Best songs ever 2024 💥🔥
Aye they did in Newport this evening as well... was fecking classic hahaha =)))
Back when you could wear relaxed fit jeans and still be 'scene'
Still cant get enough of the guitar interplay in this track. Shame they went to hell on the wings of that demon Hot Topic.
ProstheticScissor idk about scene, that term didn't come until like 2009-10. These guys are emo, fashion sense and music (in this video at least)
Nah, people were calling shit scene back in 03, at least down here they were. It was an evolution of the same fashion, just with broader influences.
Hell, F4AF released a song called '10 scene points to the winner' in 2004, lmao
Fer real. Scene was around during, myspace. Scene's been a thing for a long time. People were called scenesters back in the 80's. Probably the same morons that think hipster's are new too.
met them all :P best song imo. loovvvvveee itttt!
I like how theres a million kids anouncing that they listen to this music. It's not an achievement. Thousands(maybe even millions) of people listen to this as well.
