Looks delicious. This recipe is little different than the way we used to make it. We used just Urad dal , coconut and all the seasonings. Some of my North Indian friends make it with moong dal . No matter what they all tastes good to me. Thank you. I enjoy watching your cooking videos .

As kids, we have eaten with crushed udid dal stuffing which was seasoned with mustard, chillies & curry leaves. No chana. It was never crispy as present biscuit rotis but tasty
Biscut Roti is a variation of what was called Vedhanika in ancient Bharata. In Bihar/UP they call it Bedmi Puri/Bedai, and use stuffing of only Urad dal.
Bahushaha phulle kaala Gujaratantu dhokla chana dal ani tandula ghaalnu karta assilichi. Peet aile nantara phulle visornu gellichi. Tashi avai asche puro. Maye migele ammale bappamma Udada daali ghaalnu biscuit rotti karta assili kai. Udada dali maatra kar karichi vaattuche assili kai. Te pakkane tumka kallyari day kornu sangun diya.
