I love this cover! It sounds more youthful and hopeful than majestic. The original definitely had that feel, but this amplifies the fact that it is just a young girl trying her best to have hope and be brave, as she keeps on believing in justice and creating a better world, with every witch slain.

Vibrato is often used for hiding intonation problems (that's why British brass bands use it so much - it's from a tradition built on low-end instruments that needed their bad intonation to be hidden). My favorite recordings of Rachmaninoff's vocal music are the ones without vibrato, and those are hard to find! I think this recording you made is a gem!
