Cross should consider playing some during the low points of D2 seasons. This was fun.
My favorite thing to do lately is watching my D2 content creators play Elden Ring. Some have played Souls games before, some haven’t. It’s honestly a joy and this game blew my expectations out of the water.
I could tell from your reaction to killing the Tree Sentinel you now understand why the Souls series is so popular. Looking forward to the rest of your playthrough ;)

P.s. Congrats on the Tree Sentinel. I had to get a better weapon and steed so I could engage on horseback, but taking thr Sentinel on foot was ballsy. Great job!

The amount of pain I felt watching all the deaths. And then the huuuge sense of satisfaction I got from you beating it. This game goes from 0/10 to 10/10 every few minutes
and thus the addiction hit without cross even noticing.
I'm so happy watching this, as a souls veteran I tell people git gud. Not to be disrespectful, but to encourage them to do what you just did. You refused to give up and prevailed victorious. In that moment you felt accomplishment and you know what cross? You earned it. Please play more of this game as it is phenomenal and HUGE. So many more challenges ahead my friend. The design, animation and moveset of this tree sentinel (and many other enemies in game) is SO GOOD and out of this world - you cant escape him even on high stones/hills and it feels really terrifying and absolutely COOL!!!

You can see all the phases he goes through while fighting the mini boss. From blaming lag to button inputs all the way to "try finger but hole" and then victory after he finally learnt the moves and understood the fight.

After having started Elden Ring myself this resonated so well with me 😂 Tree Sentinel cooked my ass 60 times before I killed him on the 61st attempt, yes I was also being stubborn and didn't go explore elsewhere but that feeling of beating him was so good! 😂
