The goal of this video was just to introduce the new exporter, is not a full zero to msfs course ☺️
I have plenty of other videos on the channel showing how to make a project, how to make object, how to export them and later compile and adding into the sim
I see nothing of value in this new version. Just a copy of the old.
Hi! great tutorials and have helped me a bunch! im just getting this problem that when i try to export it, everything is okay. but when i run it through fspackagetool.exe to check that everything works, im getting a red and yellow message "mesh (0) primitive (17) has an invalid triangle mode, only triangle lists are supported, primitive (17) of mesh (0) ('main building 1') has no faces". i get this same message for 7 different objects. I haven't had this problem before but suddenly when I updated my textures due to texture issues im getting this. I checked everything in my blender file and see no problems concerning textures or the model. wondering if you can help me out! thanks!
Thanks Adrien,
You likely have some bad geometry there, not a big deal!
Before exporting, in Blender go to object mode, select all, go to edit mode, and clean your geometry via Mesh/cleanup, delete loose and also degenerate dissolve
Also a merge by distance helps (and remove bunch of useless vertex)
@@MSFS-SDK-TUTORIALS I will try that out thank you! buona giornata!
