Instagram - AdamTheWooATW Good to be back inside Knotts Berry Farm . While still no theme park rides available in SoCal this was a nice way to still enjoy the park.
Thank you, Adam, for this video 🤟🏼. I lived in Jax, Florida for a long time. So I know Orlando very well, probably too well 😉. But now that I’m back in my home state of Colorado, I’m curious about SoCal, LA, etc. I’ve been to Disneyland many times in the past, San Diego’s SeaWorld, and a handful of natural park areas. But that’s it for attractions. I’m completely clueless about these other California parks. I hope you walk and explore more of them. I’d love to learn about more of these smaller or less famous theme parks, and other attractions, in your area. Some may even be cliche spots, but I’d love to get your expertise on what someone driving to California, even for just a few days, could safely do. I’d also love it if you can update us on restrictions, or other pertinent information, about visiting California. From Colorado, it’s a half-day drive day 🚙. Stay safe, Adam, and you’re looking great! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Yea. I miss knotts berry farm. I almost forgot Southern California had theme parks. Lol . I love going to theme parks and movies but now it’s a risk I will have to think about before I go inside but staying inside is starting to become Torture but getting corona burst must be 10 times worse. I’ll decide but your definitely having fun and it’s good to see you back at knotts.
I’d argue that drinking something high in calories is worse than eating something high in calories. You’re consuming a lot of sugar and not filling your stomach, so you stay hungry. When I was losing weight I found that sugary drinks were the worst offender, and switched to almost exclusively drinking water. Eating is a good thing, as long as it’s healthy food and not in excess! Congrats on your weight loss so far!
Yeah, he's kidding himself on that. He'd be better off getting some food and just enjoying his day out. A day of trying foods when you eat right otherwise is hardly gonna ruin your diet.
I was born and raised in Orange County so it’s great seeing Knott’s open again. I’ve been there many times. You have so much in common with my husband. He loves Knott’s and Disney parks as much as you do. I enjoy your videos. You seem like the nicest guy on planet earth. 😀👍
Omg, in 1958, there was the saloon, the canoes, and the little chapel, that I can remember! There weren't very many rides, lots of things to do though! Thank you again for bringing back wonderful memories for me 👍❤
I’m 63 and used to go to Knott’s when you didn’t have to pay to get in. Love it!!! My kids loved Beaty tales. So glad to hear it’s coming back! Don’t live in LA anymore I’m on the east coast now. Went to Disneyland all my life now it’s Disney world every year. Going in Oct. can’t wait! Watch you all the time. Love seeing all my old stomping grounds in Calif! Thanks
It's great, and surprising, to see 'Beary Tales' coming back. I visited Knott's the first summer that the whole 'Roaring 20's' area opened and Knott's Berry Tales was one of my favorites. It was so new, that it still smelled like fresh paint and industrial adhesive in side. While riding, I thought, 'this seems like a ride Disney would produce.' Of course, I didn't know that former Imagineer Rolly Crump had been the lead designer.
I loved watching this vlog! I haven't been to Knott's since I was a kid and LOVED the Calico area as you entered. So many great memories at Knott's! Gasoline Alley, the parachutes, and the Soap Box Racers!
I miss those, too! My family would take vacations down here to SoCal every year, and each year, we would alternate years and go one year to Disneyland and one year to Knott's. My brother and I used to try to be the first person to spot the parachutes when going to Knott's (and play I spy the Matterhorn when going to Disneyland). Good times! And we were both obsessed with the log ride as kids!
You are right. But that was probably a lot of sugar that was consumed. Not good for someone who is above their normal weight range. Too much sugar - especially if you don't know your blood sugar levels - really make it hard to lose and maintain weight goals.
These videos have become how I begin my day(s). Might sound lame, but watching Adam do something as simple as talking to Big the Foot brings a smile to my day, and that's how I like to start.
That barn used to be in Burbank in the early 1900s, It was called Jeffries Barn, ran by James Jeffries the old heavy weight boxer. My granddad had an amateur boxing match there back in those days before the barn moved to Knotts. Good to see you back in So Cal!
It's nice to see Knott's Bear-y Tales return. Despite being a little slow, it was really cute. It was Splash Mountain without the drops. Designed by Rolly Crump, it redefined and reinforced what Knott's Berry Farm is about. It got clobbered by the roller coaster madness that took over the parks beginning in the late 1970's. Hopefully it will do better this time.
We, my family, came to Southern Calif in 1950 and have been going to Knott's ever since. Ghost Town is my favorite too. The streets were dirt back then.
I remember going to Knott’S Berry farm when I was a kid! All that was there, that I remember, was panning for gold, horse rides and store where you could watch them make jam!
Good to see it is a start for the complete opening of Knotts. I bought 2020 annual passes for my grand kids and myself which were used 10 times before the park closure. Soak City will probably not open this year. It is good to see my 2020 annual passes will be good through 2021.
Oh yes. I was there yesterday. It felt so good to be somewhere again. You go to the stores and things, but it's not the same as being in a theme park. Life actually felt normal. People were having a good time just tasting. That's one thing that I tend to do at Knott's. I don't really spring for the coasters or the rides. I just love walking around, trying some Boysenberry goodness, and looking at the unique, amazing merchandise that they have. So this festival was the perfect way of doing seeing my favorite things at Knott's. Of course, I do enjoy going on Calico Mine Train and Timber Mountain and the coasters, but for the most part, I think this is the perfect way of spending the day at Knott's.
@@misacruzader Oh yeah. There was so much cool merchandise and it wasn't super expensive. 20 bucks for a t-shirt wasn't bad, especially considering that it's twice that at Disney. Not to mention that you could even buy replica guns, real knifes, lots of iron stuff at Knott's. I was walking around with my brother, and he said "let's go to The Gun Shop." I thought he was kidding, then I looked up and we were in from of a gun shop. That's something they do not and will not ever have at any other park. I didn't buy anything, but still, I was in shock because I didn't even know it was there. What I did walk away with was awesome, though. Lots of Boysenberry things and a railroad spike bottle opener... Knott's definitely has awesome merch.
@@micycles1200 .. They actually used to have archery practice right there in Old Town! I learned how to in a high school in Orange County so I would shoot with bow and arrow in Knotts! I'm sure they don't trust having it at either place anymore.. Knotts or schools!
@@karendixon401 That's hilarious! And awesome. I'd totally be down for a new archery range at Knott's, even if it was an upcharge! I learned archery in the Boy Scouts, but there's nowhere to really do anything with it. Not like gun ranges. So having one, especially in the unique Knott's environment would really be a cool experience.
Even though this comment has nothing to do with Knottsberry Farm, I wanted to let you know how much your videos mean to me. I just saw a movie called The Short History of the Long Road. The van that is prevalent throughout the movie has Big the Foot hanging from the mirror. Every time I saw him I thought of you. It is fun to see you enjoying yourself. Thanks for sharing!
I remember the ride Berry Tales, one of my favorites when I was younger. Living out of state now and I miss Knotts. Growing up went there quite a bit. Enjoyed this vlog ❤️
they added more stops this time around the for weekend was only like 5 or 6 spots the lines were very long so nice they expanded the spots...plus your card was laminated too which is new....
Great hair cut Adam. You are very disciplined, I would have gotten 1 drink and 4 food items to experience more food than drink. Love how you detail where to park, price of the Tasting Card, showing us all the items on the 2-sided menu, and excellent recording and narration. Your videos are SUPERB AND THOROUGH WITH DETAILS which are very helpful for people who have not been to Knotts' Berry Farm for many decades. Thank you Adam, stay safe and healthy.😃😃😃😃😃
It was nice to run into you at Knotts. Love your channel and always looking forward to more theme park adventures! It was so exciting to be back at Knotts. As someone who grew up in Whittier/OC, the Ghost Town at Knotts is so nostalgic to me. Sharing that experience with family was really special. Another amazing memory to file away!

Looking good, Adam! Nice to se you back here in California! Knotts did a fantastic job with this event! The first 2 nights were a bit rocky with long lines, but they quickly adapted and the second weekend I think the longest line I waited in was about 5 minutes. Great atmosphere and just a good feeling to be back in a theme park! Can’t wait to go back to Taste of Knott’s!
I remember the rollar coaster broke down and it was so hot I went into the shows for the air con. There used to be an ice show. Had real good homemade ice cream in homemade waffle cones!
Americas original first theme park , Knotts Berry Farm and only 10 minutes from Disneyland I am blessed to live close to these beautiful places including Universal, Six flags , legoland , sea world

Relaxing calm day at Knotts Berry Farm. The beverages looked refreshing. It looks like you have lost a lot of weight. Your face and arms look thinner. Great job with everything. Keep up the great work. God bless you
Knott's is able to open the Calico portion of the park because it is not a theme park. It is a shopping area. Not sure how they are able to pull off the Taste of Knott's with more of the park being opened. Not complaining, already have my tickets for the next event.
Haven't been to Knott's Berry Farm yet. We are planning to visit this park the next time we go to Disneyland. But who knows when that will be. Thanks for taking us along with you to this event.
Dad used to get the mail at Knotts Berry Farm back in the late 1950s. You see back then where the eating places are many of them were REAL craft stores privately owned not endorsed or sponsored by the park as it wasn't a closed park back then. In fact there were no 'gates' to go thru it was literally open. Animals roamed freely across the grounds. The school house was an actual function school house up to several years before Dad went there and at the time he went there they still had the playground and stuff around it.
My daily Woo injection, always watch while enjoying lunch. Your channel is lit, your narration is perfect, and may we all live vicariously through you.
Good to see Knott's again! That Relax waterfall area is a really nice spot. I was saying "get the Gumbo and the Boysenberry Icee Float!".. Glad you went back to get the Icee..but I would have deleted the Basil drink and added the Boysenberry bbq chicken wings! Looks great out there all the same.. just needs the train sounds.
Nice work, Adam! Enjoyed the pacing. Looks like you had a busy day. I love Knott’s thanks to vloggers like you. It’s been on my must see list for awhile. Everything they do there looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for all you do.👍🏼🤘🏼🤠
I think the Taste of Knott's will be wildly popular when it starts, but I wonder if they are going to transition from that event into something like a "Taste of Fall" or "Taste of Scary Farm" event in late September through October -- which would then, of course, lead to a "Taste of Merry Farm" holiday event in Nov-Dec if the park is still not fully operational at that point. Or maybe it will just be "Taste of Knott's" all the way up until they can start running the rides and getting back to business, rotating Fall and Holiday foods into the festival mix as the seasons change.
That looks like a fun place! I visited San Francisco, California once but we were visiting family and not really doing much sight seeing. I did get to go to the beach to say I have been in the Pacific Ocean! lol But I regret that we didn't get to Disney or any other attractions.
Well, Here I am late as ever! But I had work. So glad to here you made it over to my favorite park. Good Ol Knotts Berry Farm!! Love it. Dude, over 20k views, Awesome! Thanks for sharing Adam! Two Thumbz
Don’t drink your calories, Adam!!! Sugary drinks have, many times, more calories than food. Great video, can’t wait to be back to Cali and take my husband for his first visit to Knott’s. Stay safe!
Adam, don't listen to the people who put negative comments on here. You will never please everyone. You should do what makes you happy and not what other people say you should do. As long as you are happy with you that's all that matters. I love watching your videos. Keep making great videos.😊
K Mo ... I agree with your comment, 100 % : ) At the end of the day, these Debbie Down-ers (people) need to "get a life / get hobby etc" and "mind their Own business" !! ... As I'm sure you know / agree ... Adam is "truly" a nice, down to earth, funny, positive, happy, very like-able, kind, witty guy and that - actually makes "some" people Jealous, Spiteful & Nasty ! : ( ... actually, I pity them & their pathetic, depressing existence ~ ... In my day, we were told - If you can't say something Positive OR Nice, ... don't say anything at all : )
Thanks for the kind words . I encourage all opinions , positive or negative . We can’t learn without hearing the differences of others . That being said I appreciate positive as well
Believe it or not you need to eat more dense foods to feel fuller. The sodas are “empty” calories and convert to fat cells easier. It’s a calorie thing, check the calories on what you are drinking.
Yes sir that was fun to see. The Berry drink looked the best to me, thick, smoothie esk/ milk shake esk whatever it was, it looked really good and kind of creamy. I really enjoyed this.

I love the way Big The Foot struts down the Highway.
Those boysenberry bbq wings sounded really good, more protein and less carbs.
My daily Woo injection, always watch while enjoying lunch. Your channel is lit, your narration is perfect, and may we all live vicariously through you.
Nice to see you are still keeping to the diet and resisting the food . Yet another great video 🇺🇸🇬🇧😷👍
Another bucket list place I want to go to, thank you for the video it’s cool to see everything else when you don’t live near there
We enjoyed knotts' Berry Farm with you and I am glad you enjoyed it too!
Looking good Adam!!!!! 😁 I’m glad you are still doing videos during the weird time!!! Haha
Thank you
Looking good on the weight loss. I noticed right away. I've been watching your vlogs for a year and half off and on. Great job. 🙏 Ken
So good to see you back in the OC. That icee float was the best, in my opinion, but the ice cream definitely makes it. Love the haircut too.
I miss going anywhere it's fun to watch you.
Nice work, Adam! Enjoyed the pacing. Looks like you had a busy day. I love Knott’s thanks to vloggers like you. It’s been on my must see list for awhile. Everything they do there looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for all you do.👍🏼🤘🏼🤠
My lunch time guilty pleasure - Adam the Woo. The weight loss program is going well! You look great--good job!
Adam The Woo you look great! The haircut and the weight loss journey is really starting to show! That's something to look forward too.
Thanks for bringing us here.
Hi Adam awesome vlog at the Knott's Berry Farm re-opening! I remember going to Knott's Berry Farm and going on those fun rides! stay well and safe!
K Mo ... I agree with your comment, 100 % : )
At the end of the day, these Debbie Down-ers (people) need to "get a life / get hobby etc" and "mind their Own business" !!
In my day, we were told - If you can't say something Positive OR Nice, ... don't say anything at all
: )
Thanks for the kind words . I encourage all opinions , positive or negative . We can’t learn without hearing the differences of others . That being said I appreciate positive as well
Believe it or not you need to eat more dense foods to feel fuller. The sodas are “empty” calories and convert to fat cells easier. It’s a calorie thing, check the calories on what you are drinking.
Thanks for sharing. Make it a great day!
Just got tickets for this on Friday. The only day left that isn't sold out so far.
Wonder if they will have Knotts scary? 🎃😎 gotta love a good ICEE and that COOL polar bear mascot
Was in attendance on Saturday, August 1st
Adam i would love to see a video down Rodeo Dr! see all the shops i cant afford to shop in keep up the great work
I’d love to visit here sometime, my dad went on and on about adventures in California at Knotts ❤️
Yes sir that was fun to see. The Berry drink looked the best to me, thick, smoothie esk/ milk shake esk whatever it was, it looked really good and kind of creamy. I really enjoyed this.
Impressed with your weight loss! I’ve just hit my goal of losing 60lbs! Keep up the good work
