I've had a baby. You don't really learn until after you have one, no matter how many videos you watch or books you read. It is hard work, SUPER HARD! But, so rewarding. I've never loved anything so much in my life and I am happier now than what I was before. I have more of a life now as well. Definitely don't have a child if you're not ready; they should never be your biggest regret. But please don't believe your life will be over when you have one, because I assure you that's far from the truth.
I am 30 and this video helped me a lot! Thanks. :) I don't have any kids yet, but am married. We are trying to figure out health problems, finances, and health insurance first before having a child.
Gail Daniel ~ I believe only a good parent will always be concerned about their child/children. A good parent will pray regularly and want the best for their child/children. Some self-centered ppl shouldn't be parents at all. Children need to be loved always no matter what. It's not an easy role in life at all, but it is greatly rewarding. =] ~ Blessed mother of eight.
+Addy Grl a good parent will always worry about their kid true but a good parent don't have to pray or be religious and a child can't be loved all the time. It doesn't help to love a child if they do something wrong they need to learn right from wrong and the best way to do that is disipline.
Silje Riksta ~ I didn't say a person needs to be religious. 0.o A prayer is not only a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship, but it's also an earnest hope or wish. A good parent is always hoping & wishing the best for their child/children. Seems like you have a distorted idea of what love is because you misinterpreted what I said. Loving your child/children doesn't mean a parent is always pleased or happy with whatever action or attitude of that child. Loving a child includes correcting & disciplining (NOT ABUSING) that child for his/her own good. There are various degrees of that parental love too. As that child matures and at times misbehaves or rebels tough love must be put into action. That's actually one of the toughest parts of being a parent. A parent disciplines a child he/she loves. Thank God there are helpful resources that ppl can get a hold of now to help guide us along the way. I read a lot of parenting material since I was a teenager and attended parenting classes to help me because I didn't have a healthy role model of family relationships. If I coming from a seriously dysfunctional background can learn to be a good parent and break the abusive cycle then there is hope for anyone that is willing to learn. =)
There are plenty of people with kids who still don’t have anyone to bring them socks or water. Having kids does not guarantee that you’ll have someone to take of you or that you won’t be alone.
having kids is a nightmare you need to be ready and plan ahead, you need to be patient I have two girls they are the best thing that ever happened to me
Okay so when you say ready, may you define being ready? Because I know plans don’t ever go as expected and that you can NEVER be one hundred percent “completely ready”
Childfree by choice! Never had the clock ticking. Videos like this just confirm our choice. We love to travel, work out, dance, live abroad if we feel like it, etc. Children aren't for everyone and people who don't want them should stop feeling ashamed and start enjoying their lives!
The clock ticking is not about your desire, it’s about how long you are physically able to have kids. Once your timer is up, you can’t have kids anymore. So many millennials don’t understand this and think it’s just as easy to have kids in their 40s as it was in their 20s. Reality check, it’s not.

About #3...My sister-in-law died during childbirth, and that was enough for my partner to not want kids ever. He doesn't even trust contraceptives, that's how scared he is.
I'm having some CRAZY baby fever right now... But I'm only 22, not currently employed (although that's going to change very soon!), and my bf and I are still working out some rocky spots. It is definitely not the right time... But maybe someday!
The 10th sign got way too real because some couples in a dysfunctional relationship think a baby will solve their marriage especially if a spouse is broken or violent and in actuality, makes the relationship even worse.
having a baby is fun. . after I give birth , I more value life. appreciate life and love life. even I'm a single mom. . I should be ready I know already here. I'm 28.
Okay. But babies aren't just fun. And the baby will grow up. I'm near 28 and I teach kids. Trust me. There are cute as babies, hard work as bigger kids and teens. Really an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Kinga Tinga Why do you even need a boyfriend before your teenage years? XD I'm almost 17 and I've never even been asked out or kissed. I did ask a guy out once and it ended in rejection. 😓
Rachel Fox noooo Rachel!!!!! Enjoy your teenage years too. Please don't let it just pass you by and most importantly don't let anyone or anything make you feel miserable. Don't let anything rob you off the joy of enjoying your teenage years okay?
i don’t want kids right now because I wouldn’t be able to give them what they deserve but when I eventually do have kids, they’ll be loved for everything about them.
6:30 "They'll be 30 years old and still living with you". 😣 And he said it as if it were a good thing. Alas, it is today's reality ... $55 monthly salary.
I think you should also have mentioned experience with interacting/caring for kids or at least pets. It may not be an absolute must, but it can help to have practise in advance and you find out more about your own personality, abilities and weaknesses. Otherwise I think it is all good advice. Also, not everyone needs to have kids in their lifetime, not everyone is fit for it, would be happy with it, and if everyone does then the world becomes really overpopulated. But if you genuinely want kids, dont let that stop you
Its kind of a problem that parents think young kids follow INSTRUCTIONS they actually follow what parents do ya know parents are role models example my brother is hurting me because dad is hitting and punching me Edit: Parents discipline children by spanking
my family warn me to have a baby as soon as i'm married, but i'm not ready to become parent yet they said when you are married, you have to be ready to be a parent. but for me it wasn't the same between married and become a parent
i am 24 i will be having my first baby. I was worried hesitant. i said , i wasn’t ready. because probably i am still young. I still have the wants to enjoy my single life. But then when you hear the heartbeat of your child inside of you, the mother instict inside you awakens and then in a snap you realize you are just ready. you are ready to be a parent.
my parents were never married, dad was abusive till i born... i am mistake, my dad only got my mom pregnant with me so he could keep her while cheating on her at the same time I just wanted to share some of the stuff i go through :(
Exist Reality but cheating on your mother got nothing to do with you Hun, you're here in the world now, having mission to do, so make sure to get it done perfectly and be a better human :) your life was going to be yours anyways .. from your mother or another woman..
Try to be a better person than your father *hugs you* And seriously, you are not the one who decides if you're born or not. So don't tell yourself you are a mistake or responsible for the whole situation. Your mother has given you this precious gift. You can create something beautiful with it! And even it's just being there for your mother, dealing with the situation together. I feel so sorry for your mother...please let her now my greetings from the bottom of my soul.
WhyYouGottaBeSoRude Don'tYouKnowIAmAnAnimeToo I am so sorry my 💔 for you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✝️✝️✝️ Jesus loves you so much!!!! And so do I!!! Platonically of course.... GOD Bless You ⭐️🔥❄️💜
I think parenting is the toughest job in the world but nothing is more rewarding than seeing your kids grow up to be respectful and loving individual in the future.
Most of the people who have children can expect for them to get abandoned when their children grow up, why would you have children not to be lonely when you’re old? There’s plenty of people ready to party at the retirement homes!
I just turned 34 yesterday my wife is 32. We think we are still not ready for children. We still want to spend time with each other, travel and save more money. Too much BS going on in the world right now to bring a child in this mess.
I'm so grateful for this video, so many parents get babies just because they're "cute and will save a relationship". Unfortunately I was one of those babies born to parents who weren't ready yet and didn't have the money to take care of a baby, which left me in a broken home with a deadbeat dad and depressed mom working hard so we can have food who got divorced shortly after I was born mostly because their child came out disabled. I wish my parents would have thought these things over beforehand, and understood that yes, their child just may be disabled and will want a good home with good parents. Oh, and 999th comment
what about the part where you think about what kind of world you'd want a child to live in and realize the one we live in is nothing close???? only me?
I watched this because I was curious. Tbh, I don't even have a boyfriend atm so I shouldn't even be thinking about stuff like this... Even if I really do want to be a parent one day, only sixteen, I should be thinking about life before kids... Like school, my social life, and finding that "Special someone" amiright?
Raven Artist you are absolutely right. I am sure, you will make a great mom someday, if you decide to have kids in the future. For now focus on school, friends, and having friends/a social life, you're only young once after all :) Have a great day
To now that children cost energy, time and money. You must be ready to put your child's needs before your own. If you can't wait it is nothing wrong with waiting until you feels you can give a child your everything. Every child deserves parent that give them everything they can.
My uncle thinks that women are only for cooking and cleaning, there delicate and petite. he wanted a boy, and got a girl. he is not grateful. I need to show him this video.
I don’t think you can ever be ready for being a parent. I’ve been a Mum of a daughter for 17 years and still make mistakes. Having said that though, she’s my world and the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I have few regrets. Parenting is darn hard but has its rewards. Just make sure you do I for the right reasons and with the right partner.
Sometimes i feel anxious because im getting old and everybody is already married and having kids. Im 28 and I dont have any kids never been married, I have 4 cats that act perfectly as little children. Im okay with that. But i really wish i had someone to share my life and EVENTUALLY have one or two kids, but its not my priority. Can't even figure my life yet.
"He or she surely deserves to be born into a happy family" Welp I guess I'm not suppose to be here because my parents are the complete opposite of happy and they blame me for all there problems, mistakes, and anything bad that happens "(like dropping something on the ground)
I am 38 and I rather just be an aunt instead. Because I remember when my youngest nephew was a baby. This was almost 10 years ago. When me and my mother would babysit him. There were many times when I couldn't take his screaming and crying. Because he did have really bad eczema at the time. Plus he is also allergic to both dogs and cats. We did had 2 other cats at the time. So maybe that was part of the problem as well. But I was always almost ready to silence him for good. Thankfully my mother was always there to shut him up. Being a parent is something I have no intentions of ever being one. And thank God the only babysitting that I do now is for my 2 cats. Especially the one who doesn't like to be left alone.

Kinga Tinga Why do you even need a boyfriend before your teenage years? XD I'm almost 17 and I've never even been asked out or kissed. I did ask a guy out once and it ended in rejection. 😓
Kids enjoooooy being young. You will never experience a beautiful time as being a kid 😊😊
Angie New ikr. If as a kid I'd known my teenage years would be miserable I would've enjoyed it a little more.
Rachel Fox noooo Rachel!!!!! Enjoy your teenage years too. Please don't let it just pass you by and most importantly don't let anyone or anything make you feel miserable. Don't let anything rob you off the joy of enjoying your teenage years okay?
That was a pretty funny line at the end. Hey, you'll be thirty years old and that kid will still be living with you...lol
I'm practically a parent already! Mainly because I have to watch my niece will I'm at the house by myself with her.Shes 16 months and im tired.
Unless you're with her 24/7, don't make the mistake of thinking it's the dance as parenting. A lot of people make that mistake.
i don’t want kids right now because I wouldn’t be able to give them what they deserve but when I eventually do have kids, they’ll be loved for everything about them.
6:30
"They'll be 30 years old and still living with you".
😣
And he said it as if it were a good thing.
But if you genuinely want kids, dont let that stop you
Its kind of a problem that parents think young kids follow INSTRUCTIONS they actually follow what parents do
ya know parents are role models example my brother is hurting me because dad is hitting and punching me
Edit: Parents discipline children by spanking
my family warn me to have a baby as soon as i'm married, but i'm not ready to become parent yet
they said when you are married, you have to be ready to be a parent.
but for me it wasn't the same
between married and become a parent
I’m 17 and not interested in having a baby currently but it doesn’t hurt knowing right
"Don't worry, they'll be 30 and still living with you" oml that's true
i am 24 i will be having my first baby.
I was worried hesitant. i said , i wasn’t ready. because probably i am still young. I still have the wants to enjoy my single life. But then when you hear the heartbeat of your child inside of you, the mother instict inside you awakens and then in a snap you realize you are just ready. you are ready to be a parent.
my parents were never married, dad was abusive till i born... i am mistake, my dad only got my mom pregnant with me so he could keep her while cheating on her at the same time
I just wanted to share some of the stuff i go through :(
Exist Reality but cheating on your mother got nothing to do with you Hun, you're here in the world now, having mission to do, so make sure to get it done perfectly and be a better human :) your life was going to be yours anyways .. from your mother or another woman..
Exist Reality i am so very sorry I pray for you
Try to be a better person than your father *hugs you* And seriously, you are not the one who decides if you're born or not.
WhyYouGottaBeSoRude Don'tYouKnowIAmAnAnimeToo
She could've easily left him if they never married.
WhyYouGottaBeSoRude Don'tYouKnowIAmAnAnimeToo I am so sorry my 💔 for you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✝️✝️✝️ Jesus loves you so much!!!! And so do I!!! Platonically of course.... GOD Bless You ⭐️🔥❄️💜
I think parenting is the toughest job in the world but nothing is more rewarding than seeing your kids grow up to be respectful and loving individual in the future.
and what if they dont ? 😂
Rule #1-above-all-other-rules: Get written permission from your baby-to-be first before being forced into this world.
I'm about to be 25 and I feel that it's getting closer to that time.
"Having a baby is a huge and important step for every couple."
Geez, not every couple wants to have a kid.
haha triggerd much?
Then why are you even watching hahah
I'm a heavy battlefield veteran waiting for my little squad mate in next march ,,, like if you like us
MOMBA ME ???? I don't know what you mean
Raindrop and Candy floss its my baby duh!
Ooh! I meant battlefield the video game its not a real one, don't call the child services lol
You guys are gaining a reputation for being LATE on these help videos... 😂😂😂.
Will I get a disease and die if I kiss my baby? *grabs popcorn*
Most of the people who have children can expect for them to get abandoned when their children grow up, why would you have children not to be lonely when you’re old? There’s plenty of people ready to party at the retirement homes!
When I was 3 I said I'll never hit double digits! I'm almost 11 now.
I just turned 34 yesterday my wife is 32. We think we are still not ready for children. We still want to spend time with each other, travel and save more money. Too much BS going on in the world right now to bring a child in this mess.
Kyle Jenner should watch this....
Yeah, that's a person.
Oooo yeah. *KyLe JeNnEr*
Yeah the billionaire should totaaaaallly watch a video about parenting and financial issues
When am i watching this when i'm SINGLE
My main problem is financial security to be honest...
2:03 I wanna be an author, and they want me to be a math teacher. *I DONT LIKE MATH*
Xnoii May God bless and guide u always :)
Xnoii But you can always have side jobs.
thatgirl'soldchannel that makes 2 of us.
An English teacher 😬? That wrote a novel at night.
Be an English teacher. lol
what about the part where you think about what kind of world you'd want a child to live in and realize the one we live in is nothing close???? only me?
No not at all... a very mad world as that one famous song says....
For now focus on school, friends, and having friends/a social life, you're only young once after all :) Have a great day
You're so good at grammar, I'm so proud of you! More people need to learn how to type. 😂😂😂
To now that children cost energy, time and money. You must be ready to put your child's needs before your own. If you can't wait it is nothing wrong with waiting until you feels you can give a child your everything. Every child deserves parent that give them everything they can.
I want a baby and I'm 15😂 I know not a great idea but I'm definitely going to wait but I'm super excited for when that day comes!!!
My uncle thinks that women are only for cooking and cleaning, there delicate and petite. he wanted a boy, and got a girl. he is not grateful. I need to show him this video.
And making his precious babies right?!?!.... he is not worth any woman at all!
I'm 15 why am I watching this??
we are ready only when we welcome challenges and not avoid it :)
How to get pregnant alone?
Elizabeth Armada what????
Artificial insemination
I don’t think you can ever be ready for being a parent. I’ve been a Mum of a daughter for 17 years and still make mistakes. Having said that though, she’s my world and the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I have few regrets. Parenting is darn hard but has its rewards. Just make sure you do I for the right reasons and with the right partner.
I swiped left so fast when he said they will grow up and still live with you at 30😂😂😂 I love this one 🙏🏽
I’m a teen but for some reason I think about what it would be like to be a parent.
According to my mom, I was an angel😇 as a 3 years old....it was a 2 YEAR OLD behavior crisis!!!
Edit: thanks for 2 likes😁
I suppose it's called the 'terrible twos' for a reason.
Male narrator talking about pregnancy: “iTs NoT aS HaRd aS iT mAy SeEm” 🧐
Lol I'm pregnant now and it's hard! But you can live through it;)
Sometimes i feel anxious because im getting old and everybody is already married and having kids. Im 28 and I dont have any kids never been married, I have 4 cats that act perfectly as little children. Im okay with that. But i really wish i had someone to share my life and EVENTUALLY have one or two kids, but its not my priority. Can't even figure my life yet.
She wants a blonde girl! 😂 They are ginger and brown haired😂 I don't think that's how it works.
Master Dan lol
Anyone just watching because you have characters of a story who want to become parents?

Acosi Jesus
Marie Kimberly Magno Edi wow hahahahahaha joke lang
Marie Kimberly Magno tanginamo
"He or she surely deserves to be born into a happy family"
Welp I guess I'm not suppose to be here because my parents are the complete opposite of happy and they blame me for all there problems, mistakes, and anything bad that happens "(like dropping something on the ground)
Step 13: just like any job you should have more work experience
