If he had taken it to xourt he would probably receive a similar sentence. Truth is, prosecuting team knew there is barely any chance of him reofending as a rich guy who has a rap career, especually after 7 years in prison showing him how being in the streets not worth it when you have millions of dollars stashed... they both win, Bobby gets to walk free and prosecution gets him sentenced for a significant enough time so his millionaire lawyers and star status wouldnt save him from prison overall but he still gets a chance to reenter society.
