TH-cam is paying them to splash things with mud, then wash it off with water and rubbing alcohol. People keep watching the videos despite them being fake since we all like watching restoration videos.
Because restoring something for real actually requires some skill and knowledge with electronics. He isn't actually smart enough to diagnose a real non-working device. that's why he just pretend to replace like a cap and a resistor(resistors are unlikely to fail and if they do they are baked which is very visible). Instead he just buys a cheap radio that works and then covers them in dirt. Nobody restores the electronics the way he does, pretty much everyone plugs in the device to see what's wrong first to pin down the problem and also figure out if it's even worth restoring. Some people recap vintage tvs or whatever, but that's pretty stupid waste of time and money because how are you supposed to know you don't have a major component failure, such as an IC, flyback, transformer, crt,.. that you can't source or it's too expensive, without turning it on first and getting the device work just good enough to see everything critical is good? Also measuring components while they are still on board isn't a way to go because they are still in circuit and other components effects your measurement, so it's completely useless.

Ну я не думал что у вас там осадки окрашены в жёлтый цвет, или это грязь с потёками такая красивая с верху неба постоянно проливается... Всё похоже на искусственное загрязнение этой бытовой техники, например заранее разведёной краской, которую потом очень легко очистить и после смывать... Это у вас такое постоянное хобби, специально создавать для себя трудности, а потом их преодалевать, ну и для нашего развлечения тоже, в подобных видео-сериалах.
