Stand up paddle surfing and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is an offshoot of surfing that originated in Hawaii. Unlike traditional surfing where the rider sits until a wave comes, stand up paddle boarders stand on their boards and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water. The sport was documented in a 2013 report that identified it as the outdoor sporting activity with the most first-time participants in the United States that year. Variations include flat water paddling for outdoor recreation, fitness, or sightseeing, racing on lakes, large rivers and canals, surfing on ocean waves, paddling in river rapids (whitewater SUP), Paddle board yoga and even fishing.

Keahi grew up around the legendary surf spots of Noosa on Australia’s Gold Coast and splits his time between there and the North Shore of Oahu and, at just 25 year’s old, he’s already got five waveriding world titles under his belt. He missed most of the 2016 tour due to injury but returned for the final event and won it, throwing Airton’s title chase off course, and caused an upset in 2017 as well when he won the final event in Mauritius and snatched third place overall from under Paulino Pereira’s nose.

Lmao exactly when I started the video I saw the hot chicks with inflatables and I'm thinking are they about to surf inflatables? If so I'm selling my SUP surf board because I've failed at life... Oh nevermind they're just sexy filler 😂😂😂

Some great rides by Keahi, i have gotten to travel the world with him on the Stand Up World Tour he is for sure one of my Fav riders to film. One note though He has KiteSurfing World Titles not SUP though he is due for a SUP world Title hope we get to have him back on tour soon. Current SUP World Champion is a French Rider named Poenaiki Raioha also an epic SUP Surfer. Check them out at their World Tours channel APP World Tour. One cool thing about Keahi is that he got the very first 10 point ride in the history of the Stand Up Paddle World Tour at an event in Huntington Beach California years back during his first ever showing on tour.
