@@Brian-vk1hm Yes, it is preposterous to even assume it will cause 80%+ decline in DeFi protocols associated with UST.
So UST is going to be backed with some amount of tangible BTC. Similar to how USDT is backed by only some real cash and much more commercial papers. What LUNA is trying to achieve is what DAI has been doing for years. DAI is a stablecoin that is collateralized with ETH at 150% when minted, LUNA is aiming to collateralize with BTC at 30%?
BTC is only for security to avoid a death spiral. The main backup of UST is LUNA.

Do Kwan is the epitome of missing the forest for the trees. Regarding trivial details, his brain is a supercomputer. However, regarding overarching and obvious problems, he might as well be a kindergartener.

In stead of, or at least along with, studying finance and markets, people should be studying psychology. It would help them a lot in business - sound business. Laura Shin is clearly a very smart and intelligent woman, looks easily through the "facade" of Mr. Do Kwon, and his and her facial expressions tell. He is not comfortable with her, as he knows she looks through him, unlike many Western followers he unfortunately can fool easily. This man is not honest, like the Tron guy. Take the money and doesn't even have to run in front of a sleepy and naive clientele. 40 billion richer, and laughing. This has been prepared, a year ago.He himself masterminded the attack, probably a group/network. This is not a crash, it's theft.

It's fascinating to watch this interview now, after what happened 2 days ago (11th May 2022), I was going to invest in LUNA (at £90) as it was going well. I'm glad I waited for the sh*t storm, as I've now invested £100 and got 467k LUNA back. Everyone is now panic buying and it's already up 1400% in 24hrs. Thank you Laura and Do Kwon.

This is such perfect timing. I aped into Anchor protocol and I genuinely think the 19% interest should be held for as long as possible.
It’s possibly the greatest marketing opportunity to onboard the next billion people onto Web3 and defi. I truly believe LFG needs to look into providing an insurance coverage option available natively on the Terra chain. I currently use Solana and Terra to manage my defi and it’s greatly simplified my life. Thanks to the 🐐 Laura for this fantastic interview. Shout out TO THE LEGEND DO KWON.
