That is probably more on Tsuburaya, the company that owns Ultraman. They had a several decades long legal battle over the international distribution rights of the franchise with the Thai company Chaiyo that started in 1996 and only got resolved in 2020. It will probably take a while before they start doing more international collaborations again
@@HueyHolmes Well, Lego has been moving away from the more action figure style System/Technic designs for a while now. It sucks, but it's now up to these third party companies to keep the legacy of these builds alive
@@sandspadaYeah man it really sucks :(, the strange thing here is that Lego has not tried to create a piece like the one this Ultraman has, but you have to keep in mind that maybe it is not so lego that this piece exist, I mean, they could do a thousand things to make it work, but sadly Lego abandoned the CCBS system because it was not profitable for them, which is annoying because if they had polished it more, many of its errors would perhaps no longer exist, unfortunately this was not the case and what we know from the ccbs system for the part of lego is that for them it brought more Problems than rewards.
I've been on the fence on getting these figures, I was quite worried of the quality, so thanks for doing the review! I did some research and it turns out Qman toys has been doing licensed Ultraman lego styled toys for quite some time now. The upcoming releases of the Bionicle style Ultraman figures will be coming with alternate pair of hands, so you can replicate the finishing moves Ultraman does in the series.
ULTRAMAN MENTIONED! Alright the one that you built was Ultraman orb The one on the left was Ultraman Tiga The one in the middle was Ultraman Zett And the one on the right was ultraman Zero specifically his super form Zero Beyond
Nice video men! the bionicle community will apreciate this video very much, they where very interested on these figures! I WONDER HOW OLD are these figures they might be very recent
This is actualy such a cool bootleg! Theres so many useful pieces especialy those CCBS limbs without balljoints would be really useful for me not to mention these sick armor pieces! Great video as always OSSO!

Lego really is just afraid of money aren't they.
they rather make shitty looking action figures
then 200 IQ stuff like this

@@sandspada I wasn't refering to the fact that these are based on Ultraman but rather the way they are made.

They're quite recent. One of the characters, Ultraman Z (the predominantly blue and silver one) was from a new series from 2020.
As someone who is a massive Ultraman and Bionicle fan this is the happiest news I've received all day.

The meat riding is crazy

Why naze darou ?
Jokes aside, what a great pieces of plastic art.
First one is Ultraman Orb
Qman is unlocking the bionicle potential that lego left behind in 2015
6:00 that's ultraman orb
what both the piraka and toa inika gen 2 could have been.
What The actual heck is this 😂
Imagine Being.
This ain't your daddy's lego.
@@OSSOYT bigot
I like the style for qman ultra man
the balljoint issue is fixed in the English version, the ones without holes on the outer armor
Do you have a reference for that? I'd like to know which ones specifically.
@@mysticalrandonmess hmm just google qman ultraman, some english version box will pop up
I had the exact same masker :D
Cool to see LEGO has a bit of competition, even if only a little
