Revox B77 - first run after many years

I inherited this B77 from a friend who had passed on seven years ago. His brother found the machine and gave it to me. The tape deck hadn't been switched on for many years - will it run, play dead, explode, or burst into flames and smoke? It smoked! but it was serviced afterwards and is now happily in good use
