Every time i watch a video from you or Brian i fall more in love with your channels , Watching you surviving in the jungle is amazing. The scenery is absolutely beautiful !!!
I remember in the late '70s people of Manila were unfamiliar with that taro dish although it was a traditional dish in Quezon province and Bicol. When my mom shared the food to our neighbor, they thought it was carabao dung. lol
Pleased as, your not goin hungry. Nice, you got home Lot! If you didn't we wouldn't have this vid, right? Sorry to hear your Gran is not well. If your Gran is like my Gran, she will get to 100 years, and I'll look forward to seeing the party! Pleased H.G. is doing well and furthering her education. Bing/Sam will find her direction. We all do.
Lot Lot, Welcome to the Jungle. Looks like an episode on “Naked and Afraid XL” Keeping busy there is a good thing. Hope grandma will feel better soon. Enjoy your night! 😎
Hi Lot, hope your Grandmother feels better very soon. The beach is very nice and you need to wear boots walking through the jungle so you don't hurt your feet. Everyone have a great day!!!

I like Laing, Lot, taro leaves cooked in coconut milk. My daughter-in-law makes it. She puts some chili peppers in it also. It kind of reminds me a little of creamed spinach. Hope, Grandma is feeling better. I believe in herbal medicine. When I was there in the Philippines last time, I had some stomach problems. My brother-in-law made me tea from guava leaves and I felt better!
@@lotsdiaryadventuresintheph3981I am from Seychelles we use coconut a lot, please coconut milk not coconut juice, even the inside is called Coconut water.

❤❤❤👍👍👍 Mosquitos are in the evenings and early dawn I always light a katol before bed and wake up you would see all the dead mosquitoes on the floor and I would first thing when I wake up so I don't get bitten when I drink my coffee 😂😂😂 Laing taro leaf is very good with coconut milk
No coconut juice, is coconut milk, not even the coconut water, you cannot call it juice, yeah, going into that jungle, not knowing where you planting your step, is scary, specially in humid terrain, you can step on a snake easily, never liked going into high vegetation, scared of snakes, regards from South Boston MA!!
I'm assuming the wood comes from the jungle but seems to me the area would soon be depleted. Do you have to buy to supplement the wood supply? Have a fantastic day!
Oregano is an expensive spice. The Italians like to use it in their cuisine.. It is the ingredients use in pasta and pizza sauces. Grow it and cultivate the leaves, let it dry in the sun, then chop it, store in containers.
Careful to walking may be have snake i think you need to started to plant more vegetables to your land so that way no ned to go the jungle to get vegetables

@@lotsdiaryadventuresintheph3981the tuber roots are a good dessert too. Take only the roots, cook with Coconut milk and put a teaspoon of vanilla essence . Eg a kilo of taro , one liter of coconut milk, 250gms of sugar, one table spoon of vanilla essence, cook it until softened and the coconut cream becomes creamy.
This is reckless to go in such dump, swampy overgrown places without a protective gears in your foot. I cannot believe how people can be poor in the Philippines. This taro plant that you use in Seychelles we use only the roots tubers, a kilo sells around 300 pesos. Taro flour is even more expensive around 1000 pesos a kilo..
Hope Lola gets well soon.
Very Nice Farming/Garding ... PVT Beach looks good. The girls n kids would luv to play there

Get a trimmer and clear a path to that beach and taro patch. 😊
It's called a machete 😊

I would widen that path 3 feet wide and wood/coconut chips for the path. Be easier to spot snakes
