    Zach, this was the most refreshing video about Sarasota housing I have seen in two years of research. Love how you break things down!

    One of the best Sarasota videos out there, agree with all your opinions. We wound up buying the big middle on a large lot as we did not want a HOA, but it is a older house, so we have to do renovations. If a younger couple is on a budget but has energy to do renovations, there are lots of affordable options out there. HOA is a lifestyle, some love the community, others struggle with the rules.

    at 63 have spent most of my life in the gulf gate area...but on the north side of clark off lockwood ridge. fortunate to have family that bought a number of lots, and only put a few houses back in the 50s...hence half acre plus yards...left for Georgia for a few years, back here now two years and appreciate it even more. The amount of ammenities within minutes is amazing, yet get back home to semi country life. Cant imagine what the properties are worth now...wouldnt matter...would never sell.

    I moved here from Fort Lauderdale (Coral Gables native) and love it as I always knew I would since I’ve loved this place forever. Have family on Captiva and Gasparilla Islands and have been trekking here for Thanksgiving & Passover since I was a toddler. The only thing that has me a bit worried is the seeming huge influx of Northerners relocating here in big numbers.

      Agreed. Sarasota is growing at a rate that seems like the infrastructure can’t keep up with.

      @@claudiahansen4938I see! Venice has such a different vibe V.S. Sarasota especially the island and downtown area. Its super beautiful, albeit much older crowd and slower paced lifestyle! Its always a blessing to love where you live!

    Regardless of what they claim Lakewood Ranch is not the number one master plan community. You should research first.

    • @ZachPayneSarasotaRealEstate
      @ZachPayneSarasotaRealEstate  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your opinion. Surely Lakewood Ranch isn’t going to appeal to everybody in the world. That doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s the top selling multi generational master planned community in the country. You can’t disagree with facts.

      Firstly, congratulations on your approval! In my experience Sarasota is safe for everybody. Just like any other cities there are higher crime parts of town. Crime mapping.com is a good resource I tell my clients to use to give them specific data on crimes that occur all over the country. You should check it out. If you have any other questions feel free to give me a call or text @ 941-444-1245. I’d love to assist in your home buying process!
