Hey Dude so I was kinda looking for videos for full people taking Bart to sfo and this… Is perfect! :D This channel is the best traveler Ever!!! Hope you hit 7k :)
Just an FYI at 36:23 the caption reads that 101 is a" US state route". There are US routes and there are state Routes (as well as other types of routes). The white shield is a US route in much the same way that the Interstate system has its red white and blue shield. In California State routes have a green shield. US 101 which BART passed over, is part of the federal hwy system and it is not a state route. That being said, I like your video.
Thanks for the video. I'm visiting SF for the first time next month and this video gives me an idea of what to expect. Are there any elevators at these BART stations? I see you only taking the stairs. I plan to take the BART to and from the airport, and I don't want to carry my suitcase up and down all those stairs 😅
Thank you! Yes, every station has an elevator (some may or may not work due to maintenance). However, you can check the BART Elevator Status at their official webpage: www.bart.gov/guide/accessibility/elevators or www.bart.gov/stations/elevators
Awesome video, man! Just giving you a heads up that the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup Final and there will be a parade at Fort Lauderdale Beach tomorrow, as a celebration of the Panthers winning the Cup! By the way, a new Express Bus ride video has been released and the Panthers Express Shuttle (posted on Tuesday). If you are interested in it, feel free to watch it! Happy Independence Day and Go Panthers!
Despite the weirdo online propaganda, BART is among the safest transit systems in the US, if not the safest. No, I am not kidding. Look it up! It has a ridiculously low crime rate. Now, why people say that it's dangerous... I don't know. It's an extremely bizarre online trend to badmouth BART. I think it's just a weird meme or people trying to dunk on SF while mistakenly thinking that BART is "SF's subway" (which of course is actually Muni Metro in the real world).
Airport surcharge. That's what funded the SFO extension in the first place. The same system was used to fund the OAK airport extension and it has a similar surcharge over the regular BART ticket.
that ride you saw was over 30 miles at up to 80 mph speeds. BART is a regional rail system not a subway or a local metro. It takes you very far very quickly, but it also costs like a regional train. Which in all fairness it is.
This is a really great tour of San Francisco thank you.🇺🇸🚈🚎🇺🇸
Thank you :)
Nah. You have to come smell the pee and see all the homeless in person to really take it all in
@@Squishmallows24 Where do you see any of that?

I think I took this train twice once from your station to Daily Center, and once from San Fransico Airport to Daily Center.

Hearing scary stories about Bart in SF. Is it still as bad? is this video very recent?
Yes. This video was filmed on March 2024. I felt safe during the day (just don't stare/look at anyone).

You’re not walking south on market you’re walking south west 😭
South-west
Bart to sfo is 10$? 😮 to Millbrae it’s only 5.60$!
Airport surcharge. That's what funded the SFO extension in the first place. The same system was used to fund the OAK airport extension and it has a similar surcharge over the regular BART ticket.
10.55 is pricy. San Diego was so much cheaper at 2.50 no matter where you go
