I first read this story 35 years ago and it still, even now, makes me shiver a little. Magnificent writing and of course Robert Powell's narration.
Marc Jones Yes! This narrator is my favorite version of this story. I tried listening to the one with Maitland and it just wasn’t the same. May have something to do with me growing up with a cassette of this version around the house.
