Nice - surprisingly good lens. Not just the usual fisheye or lower res linear crop. Would love to see a tutorial of the desqueeze/timeline/output in Resolve.
I'm considering an anamorphic lens for my Hero12. Your video is well-done. Only in a few spots can you see "aryifacts," but for a US$50 lens I wouldn't complain. Can you use it at 8:7 or 4:3? I'd to capture its full effect and expand/crop in the computer.
@@TravelandStreet but can you tell me why you cant shoot in 8:7 with the anamorpic technically it should be possible the only question is if it’s vignettes?

I'm sure you probably could do that. I don't have the GoPro gear any longer unfortunately so i can't test it out.
what if you would shoot in 8:7 mode? would it vignette ?
Unfortunately not. It's the default setting only it works with. It would be amazing if you could though.
