Annick Massis Bel Raggio Semiramide Rossini Musiques au coeur 11 2001

En 2001, Musiques au coeur avait rendu hommage à Rossini dans un concert fiction : "Le Viaggio... de Rossini".
Au cours de ce documentaire Annick Massis a "donné une véritable leçon"de chant bel canto rossinien en interprétant ce "Bel raggio".
Pour moi, tout y est : la voix idéalement placée et "posée" pour ce genre de répertoire, la virtuosité, les ornementations... Un régal !...

@@mugrad25it really depends. None of them are written in the score so these are just interpolations/ornamentations. There are no rules. Most singers do not add High-Es. Callas did not add High-Es, neither did Caballe. Not everyone has a solid High-Es. It is also a question of style.

​@@oliviero.m750thanks for your response. You are right. I didnt know how it was supposed to sound until i actually the opera. Think the soprano went up to a C#6 but mainly stayed upper middle and had to sing long complex lines.
