- Here's my completed High-Grade 1/144 scale Char's Dijeh. This custom kitbash was a pretty fun and not too difficult, the best kind! I'm happy with how it came out, colors look good and just a little weathering around the edges.

The video starts a lil bit abruptly? accidently cut out the intro maybe?

I wonder what it would look like with some kind of cloudy exhaust coming out of the vents onto the platform. It looks like the suit is landing but I don’t get the impression of a landing if that makes any sense. Great job Zach! Another awesome series!
I like the matte-smoothness of the colors... so relaxing to the eye. The landing pose plus the stage look so real and displays very well.
One little thing I'm confused about the shield articulation, like rotating via peg or an arm? The gaping space between the back-pack and the shields look very tight when moving the arms.
I like your works. They always have a professional look about them; it's very apparent that they were done by a pro modder. Awesome work man. Awesome.

As for the landing pose you should look some parkour videos and see how they land and some marks on the plataform of wearoff might do the trick. As for the kit, An awsome work.
Your style reminds me Gundam Fix Figuration. Matt finish with plenty of decals.

Regarding the posing issue, is it because the shields are on the elbow instead of on the outside of the arms? That would help with giving it a more natural stance I think. I love the sturm Dias boosters on this!
Wao what an amazing build love it specially how the color tone came to be, only wish you had done the custome side legs thrusters(but I know you dint like the design) other than that is perfect I'm interested to buy this to have it displayed
personally I would paint the support, color choice is good although I'm not a fan of the orange details but that is just personal choice. Any Aznable suit is a special forces suit so the giant decals on the backpack I would rein in. The pose looks great from the back but a little awkward from the front. Then again a suit right before touch down wouldn't be in the most graceful pose maybe. idk. looks great.

This looks awesome!! I always love the nice smooth flat finish on your models! The base is kinda ehh, I’m not sure why, maybe lacks a little more details. You’ve had bases in the past that have been amazing, but for some reason this one doesn’t grab me. Otherwise, the model looks insane! Great job!!

when posing, how do you keep painted joints from scratching the paint off? does it depend on what primer/paint/topcoat youre using?

Basically just have to be super careful. But paint prep helps~ sanding and washing parts before painting ensures a better grip of the paint. Give a good 24 hours minimum curing time for primer and paint.

This thing is NICE yo. Digging the choice in gun, very reminiscent of what Char will be using in later suits. I bounce around with the thought but I think HG's are pretty much my favorite line Bandai puts out. I'm just curious, how could I find out what you would charge for something like this typically? Like loose ballpark what is it worth?

the pose is okay, it's basically hovering in the hangar preparing to land or move out, though amazed that the ground crew didn't managed to get blown away by the engine thrust, lol.
Haha I thought about that too but didn’t wanna get caught up too much on the “realism”
@@ZakuAurelius i guess just imagine the crew wearing magnetic boots or something to stick to the floor to keep them from getting blown away, anything is possible, lol.

I know you chose it just because it looks cool but on the left shield you used Kycilia Zabi's personal crest, everywhere else on the kit you use Char's crest.
Haha I chose it cause I had a surprising lack of good Zeon markings on hand

I actually think the pose is a little wonky because it's suspended and would look better if the kit was standing on the base.
It was meant to look like he’s about to land, but yeah it’s just not quite right

Love how the walls of the base seem to change from gray to red depending on the angle, the kit overall looks really good

I really like the color palette but I think the giant binders are incredibly out of place. I realize they’re “canon” but they do not jive with the design at all.
