Gotta say, the campaign in MW3 was phenomenal. Loved how they tied all 3 together (even though the first two were barely related).
Well, that's because IW originally didn't even want to make an MW2. They wanted to be done with modern warfare, but Activision forced them to do it. So they continued, and they tried to separate modern warfare from call of duty, hence why some of the MW2 box art were simply called Modern Warfare 2 and some had Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. There was a lot of dispute prior to the IW team's separation from Activision. MW3 was made by an entirely different team and I'm certain that the original team would've not approved of many of the things that the new team implemented.
Oh I remember the hype for this. Everyone thought it was gonna be a trailer for mw3

This movie is exactly how is goes in the game....even the smallest vibration on ''pulling the knife out of your body'' scene is right how it is in game...amazing!

The scene at the end of the video is how Modern Warfare 3 should have ended. Imagine how epic it would've been playing as Soap and finally finding Makarov with Cpt. Price :D

P.S I love modern warfare series.
in short, never question logic in the campaign of cod games.....they never make sense.
Even the modern warfare media was wrong, example being the fact that the last scene you see in this trailer never takes place in mw3(probably because this was fan made),
and the operation kingfish is also a bit illogical with the modern warfare story line and soap's journal, where price is presumably dead.
I could also go on about inconsistencies in the journal, but never mind.
