She had a legal team of several attorneys. The two lead attorneys were doing the case for free, in order to get publicity for themselves.
I wonder if the defense attorneys were able to maintain a straight face at the ridiculous strategy with saying she did it to get on a reality show. I can imagine people have done some crazy things to get on tv....but this takes the cake. I hope the husband is in a better place since her conviction, but I doubt it going to be a long time before he can trust anyone again.

They did find her guilty the first time. It was overturned by the appellate courts. The second jury couldn't reach a decision. The third jury convicted her. So two out of three juries found her guilty and not once did they find her not guilty.
