I love old villiages I also love paranormal stuff where we can talk to people who passed in the villiage. My name is Elena I loved watching this kind of stuff.
Might I recommend Feltville Historic District in Berkeley Heights. I used to work nearby and eat my lunch in the parking lot at the top of the road that leads to this historic and creepy abandoned village.
@@TheCuriousWorld You're more than welcome! ALSO, I'd also like to recommend Allaire Village in Farmingdale, NJ. Love your channel! Keep up the great work 👍👏
There's also the church and cemetery, just down 542 to the west, and over the county line. Thanks for the video. I live about 8 miles from there, and it's one of my favorite places.
Just learnt you've got an English channel now 👍 this video is really cool. It's the first time I heard about the Batsto village so it was very educational for me. Also I think your video editing skills are amazing! It felt like I was watching an actual short documentary report. Keep up the good work 😊 looking forward to your new videos!
Joseph Wharton’s daughters offered it the state on NJ for 1 million dollars and the state declined. Once the last daughter remained she offered it to the state one last time years later for 3 million dollars and the state purchased it.
Unfortunately it is not a ghost town at all. It is just a vacated village that the State of NJ took over to preserve history. People go there frequently since it is a public place and near by hiking , camping and exploring. They also have a country living fair every year in the fall. It's a beautiful piece of history and awesome to pay respect of the old ways of living. So ghost town 🤔 um..... No
You are so cute, adorable in fact. I drive by it a few times a month and keep meaning to check it out. Your video peaked my interest even more, it's a must do. Thank you for sharing and keep being cute.
People think it's so cool to play music in the background of their TH-cam videos and it's the most annoying thing. it's only their favorite song ,it's not everybody else's favorite song.

I'm a NJ resident. Been to Batsto 3 times and would still go again. Nice video btw.
Thank you!
Each year there is a Country Living Fair in October. One-year I took some of my third grade class from Egg Harbor City. I hope they still remember.
Hello Clark, how are you doing today?
that's a nice storytelling. I wanna go to Batsto some day. It's a nicely preserved place in New Jersey. Thank you very much for your video, Bridget!
You should gives tours. I was there once & missed most of what you showed. They did have guy making glass on grounds that was interesting.
That does sound interesting! I don't think any events were going on when we visited (or if there were--we missed them!)
Very cool video. Thank you for taking the time to create it.
My wife and I were there today hiking the Batsto Lake Trail and parts of the Batona Trail. Absolutely beautiful
Amazing! Kinda western-zombie movie atmosphere.
Yes!
Reminds me of resident evil 4 villiage
Looks amazing!

It wasn't totally vacated until the 1980s?! Imagine being the last person to move out of a ghost town that's been mostly empty for decades!
