Yes Christ redeemed us, but we must choose to obey God. Yes we are imperfect and so is our obedience, Christ makes us perfect before God but we have a response and it comes first: to obey. This sermon made me think of the prosperity gospel which is false. Too much emphasis on financial giving. Park lot pics. Please. This is unbiblical. Prosperity gospel.

Essau represents Jesus and Jacob represents us? I don’t think so. Essau sold his birthright for some porridge. And look at the prophetic blessings given by their dad, Isaac.
I also wonder about your statement that God rejected Jesus on the cross. I cannot believe that. He did permit Jesus to suffer and die on the cross, but that is not the same as rejecting Jesus. He did not hate Jesus. I cannot believe that.
