The game feels different lately. I was actually enjoying it a bit more this past couple of weeks but now every game feels sluggish? I’m experiencing a lot more collisions, interceptions and deflections off my players (which majority of the time fall to my opponent)
Hi nep been having issues with people leaving the game at 1-1 or 2-2 recently. I’ll go down 1 or 2 nil and work hard to get back level before my opponent just pauses and leaves the game. I don’t understand why EA doesn’t give you the win for this as a forfeit would result in a 3-0 loss. Just feels like a big waste of my time
Been a problem for years funny thing is if they do it on seasons you get the win but yeah it's frustrating coming back from 2 or 3 goals for them to quit
Why should you get a win when you weren’t winning in game ? If you’re winning and they quit fine but leaving at a draw shouldn’t award you a win. Would be too easy for people to abuse that
Man I relate so hard to the stubbornness discussion, I just had a terrible weekend league run and I think unwillingness to change things up is partly to blame. After watching this I will definitely be completely overhauling my team, tactics and formation.
Hi Nep, I kinda disagree with your sentiment on being able to do as many sbc's as possible. The vast majority of player sbcs dont appeal to me as the players are very similar to options on the market already, or just arent very good. The amount of objective players i have gathering dust already is crazy. There isnt a game mode worth playing where you can test out non meta sbc/objective players without coming against meta teams anyway and lets face it we dont have fun if we are losing repeatedly. Ive found i have or am able to acquire enough fodder to do the sbcs of choice with this approach. Avoiding the higher priced gamble SBC's has meant i have enough coins to buy whoever i want (within reason) too.

It would be fun to grind separate players like you were talking about. Even if it’s just for a cosmetic change on the card just like on call of duty… you can make 100 headshots but your weapon would still be even strong. People just love the grind and love to show off their camo, would be great to all have different cosmetic cards
Last week I was in div 8 and got the rivals rewards for that division and now I'm I'm div 5 which I've never been in and idk what I'm doing, but whatever it is, it's working and I'm really happy with myself 😊
Hello Nep, hearing you say about the player boost grind for FUT tells me you are defo a pro clubs OG missing accomplishments. Love it! I remember you had to score 10 free kicks just to get ankle tape... 😮 but guess what? I wanted ankle tape.
i dont even think it has to be increased stats for adding progression of players. simply get rid of the stupid cosmetic evos and make it so at 100 power shots you get a power shot badge then at 500 you get an upgraded power shot badge. then then do the same with games played too, once you get 100 games played put a bronze flair around the card, 500 silver, 1000 gold. something simple like that would give the rewarding feeling of progression
Another amazing point about SBCs. I'm doing a rangers Evo team and Beasley for example is perfect for that having played for us. But the cost of him puts me off. The amount of fodder it would cost to essentially give a small upgrade on the base hero I've already got untradable seems excessive. And the only gain on him is he'd link to some meta prem players instead of mls ones
Have been watching your content for years and always like your opinions ideas on the game. The idea objectives for a certain player to give them upgrades is good. However i would rather them do it for additional roles/playstyles and alternate positions. Would be amazing if we was able to say score 100 goals in rivals/champs to add a position to a player and then 200 to give them a role ++ or something like that.
I've been getting similar issues on Xbox. Last few days the loading has been horrendous. Also multiple disconnects form servers during squad battles matches.
I watch these highlights and I'm always blown away by how much space everyone seems to have in the opponents half....I feel like i only play drop back 10 in the box merchants. Brutal
One of biggest problems with this game is people think they should get a reward for playing. Why do you need something special/xp for doing something 10x? You have multiple modes to get xp, what is sense of purpose? Play the game because it's a game.
Love the content nep, I really enjoy this game, I know it’s got a lot of criticism, but honestly from a perspective of someone who only plays 3 hours every other day… I really enjoy it, the teams I play are always unique and different… something that this game has lacked since the early days of fifa… it’s like they finally got it right

I recently got a ps5 this weekend thinking I’d have more fun with the game but i genuinely can’t get used to the gameplay change, i feel the same with certain players with 90+ pace feeling slow and my players being under pressure instantly. My stubbornness isn’t doing me any favours, glad to see it’s not only me

First i did a normal RTG but i can see how you love to play with your favorite players. I did start an Arsenal RTG to try it because i'm also Arsenal fan and it its so nice to play with all the Arsenal men and women.

In fairness the game does have stadium trophies/cosmetics which you get for simply playing the game. I know they're not the best, but it defeats the COD camo argument. Also what you have described sounds like what they have in UFL?
We should be earning SP for every game played, we know they can turn it on and off like last year at the end of season passes to help people. But why isnt it a standard that every games earns a certain amount of SP instead of waiting every Thursday for our SP. It would make every game have meaning even if you lose

Don’t we already have your type of evolution in the clubs section. Imagine for every 50 goals you get a point to add +1 to finishing on any card. Then you can improve one of your cards. As you change your team you can decide to put your points elsewhere. Don’t think that will then impact everybody having 99 cards

I still dont agree that EA cant do cross platform progression, if i buy the game on pc, xbox also playstation as long as i have the same gen i should be able to use my team on any system i choose to play. Works for other games, why EA cant do it must have to do with packs they are releasing on set consoles.

From memory EA are to lazy to upgrade the system to ID the difference between a DC and an actual forfeit.

I can't play a 442. My team feels exposed, and it's too easy to go through my team. But went to a 433 and it feels better
Same using 4411 now after 442 and still feel exposed. Defo prefer 433 variants

That was me who is saving the 87+ cards for the exchange, im now up to 37 87+ cards. Lets hope they come soon.

Yeah I’d like to know the reasoning too. I’m on counter but put it down to me being a bad defender for being pounced upon
That evo system would be so fun people would have very unique cards. Also if they only have it for gold cards. So that they would last longer.
