This technique is applicable only for those questions whose data is in the multiples.

We don't need exact multiple for these...reduce the numbers as minimun as possible. Dividing the numbers by 5 will also work.

56+ (12×5+ 0×6 + 9×3 + 4×2 + 7×6)/(5 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 7)
=56+ (60+27+8+42)/23
=56+6
=62
Therefore, Overall Percentage of Male= = 62%.
So, overall percentage of female= 100% - 62% = 38%.
