CFOP is better for OH than Roux confirmed :P. I love Matty's solutions, and the execution is sooo smooth. And wait until the kiddies get smaller cubes or bigger hands...
Definitely no, I myself use cfop + ZBll and I do have to admit that roux is 100% percent, the fact that there is no rotation and everything is almost or is 2gen it's so efficient - fast.
There's also a few new roux kiddies, most notably Neo Cuares who debuted in OH last weekend with a sub 10 average and Crimson Arradaza who got a sub 9 average last weekend
this means nothing roux is almost guranteed better its just that there havent been good singles with it

The square 1 world record single is 3.41 seconds. I think it might end up being faster than the 3x3 world record(3.13 seconds)
Square 1 scrambles are luckier than 3x3 scrambles. My 3x3 average is roughly 14 seconds but my PB is 8.78 seconds. My square 1 average is roughly 18 seconds but my PB is 5.33 seconds. Square-1 can easily overtake 3x3 world record.

I feel like world records still are not reaching it's limit yet and they could def drop at least a second or 2 on events and averaging sub 5 is already becoming a thing at this point since max park got the 1st ever sub 5 ao100 and WRs are still constantly being broken, and out of nowhere sqr-1 is at least catching up to 3x3 which is just proof that cubing hasn't reached the limit yet including how we literally had 2 WRs broken in 1 day.
