- Vick Almighty restores a pair of BEAT Red Suede Air Jordan 5s!
In today's episode of Restorations with Vick, he took a pair of cooked Air Jordan 5 "Red Suede" and brought them back to life! During the restoration, Vick used the Reshoevn8r Signature Kit and Laundry Pods to bring them back to life! However, there were a couple of spots that he missed and did not want to re-clean the entire shoe. To clean up little areas of dirt on the shoe, Vick used the Reshoevn8r Dry Suede Kit. Red suede 5 released in July 2017! I got a pair I can't wait to clean up!
I used the same moves you did on some crusty Olive 13s I got in a beater box and I revived them!! I didn't think I could pull it off, but because of your videos, I believe and hope I get to your level. Keep up the good work.

These were lowkey hard with the faded uppers. The red netting and midsole really pops and contrasts against the faded pink suede.

I have a pair of red suede ewings that are old as fuck and naturally faded that are sick.
Probably gonna clean them hardcore and if they look dope really faded and clean af imma just leave em as is
I have always loved this shoe, I've worn mine so many times and kept it lookin new. I baby the hell outta my shoes. Personally, I swapped the laces with a black pair and man does it make the shoe pop more :)

@@temarjonesjr4954 I just baby them. Wore them a lot kept out of wet areas and mud and snow. As best I could. Washed the mid sole when I could. Still looks pretty new. I cant do anything about creases. But i do the best to prevent losing color and not getting scuffs or getting it dirty

@@SjProjects. yeah 5’s are pretty bad in terms of creasing. But I’m the same way with my shoes… I won’t wear anything but boots or beaters if it’s even supposed to rain lmao. Definitely not in the snow or even with snow on the ground lol. That’s what people don’t understand…. If you protect your shoes and take care of them they’ll last for literally ever. You just can’t wear them every single day and if you do be smart about it and at least use a waterproofing spray & clean them as soon as you need to. Preventative maintenance is 🔑. Lol I’m rambling now my bad.

When you use the brass brush to reset the suede, how do you get the nap shortened? When I do it it just makes the suede look like a carpet vs like a pool table

Hello! Can you assist me with a problem? I dyed a pair black that originally had a red base colour with Jacquard Dy-Na-Flow using a brush but now it's very stiff, just like if i used regular Angelus paint with 2 soft..Do you think because i used a regular brush instead of an airbrush may be the problem? Maybe i clogged the suede or something. Now i was thinking of switching back to Angelus but that dye it's too powerful and i hate using it...
By any chance do you know the mixture for the red? I can’t get mine to match!

Great video. I'm gonna be dyeing a pair if red bally shoes but my my question to you is how do I clean my suede brush? I know it may sound dumb but my brush has both synthetic bristles and metal & fell that if I use water it my damage the bristles.
