We got kicked out Friday at the main gate for absolutely fuck all, but lucky for us they didn’t take the sticker off so we drove straight back in the top gate and parked up at camp for the rest of Friday. But yeah it was pretty much the same thing as you, we were getting picked on for no reason at all

You run the risk of having your car impounded for doing a burnout on a public road if you do a skid after being chucked out. Epic’s roads are all public roads. Plus you run the risk of a lifetime ban from Summernats. I can’t understand why this guy got booted. I listen later with the sound on

I'd not bother going. It's too big an event to get value as an entrant. Waiting in traffic jams for half an hour to move 100 meters and burn through $400 of methanol isn't my idea of fun. It's why I go to test and tune meets instead of major competition events. Easily get 10 runs in an evening vs 3 runs for the entire 4 days.

Entirely possible given that the same security people breathalysed a passenger in a LHD car and completely missed the fact that there was no steering wheel in front of him. If that's the case yes the Summernats organisers should pay for your whole weekend and give you free entry next time you want in. Might be worth speaking to Fair Trading ACT about it too.

Hi we just watched your you tube page how you were treated very unfairly, we have just been told that we were warned 4 times at the Nats this year but haven’t got a clue what we were supposed to have done , I sent a appeal to the appeal place and Summernats wanting to show any footage of what we were supposed to have done and they have not shown us a single thing on footage we think it’s mistaken for another plate on another car same as ours just like yourselves 😢 I think people are being blamed for other’s disregard for the rules , hope you get to go next year ,
I have a solution to your problem have cameras filming all over ya car while driving then you can show them that you didn't and that will fckem up. 2nd get some pins or bolts for your ramps and that will save you coz next time you might not be so lucky with the ramps. The "POS" cars are some of the coolest, like Jay from Low Standards and his RX-3 bush wreck that DJ from Automotive Karnage hooked him up with, along with the old HR/HG/HK Holdens on Tuff Street with the rust and patina all over them... not every car at Summernats has to have a paintjob that costs more than a brand new Ranger Wildtrak and a blower that's taller than Big Bird.
