  • When you arrive in Spain for the first time, some Spanish customs may strike you as being very different to how they are done in other places.
In this new video to learn Spanish we have put together some Spanish customs that may seem very strange to you when you first arrive and we give you tips on how to get around like a local.
For example, eating times in Spain are very well defined and tend to be later than in many other countries. Something similar happens with the opening hours of shops, which tend to close at midday for a couple of hours, instead of being open all day long.
Queues at markets and appointments for paperwork are other situations that are solved in a very particular way.
In many Spanish cities, the heat takes centre stage during the warmer months and changes some of the customs of the locals, who prefer not to be exposed to the sun during the central hours of the day.

Qué significa llevar la vez…. No lo entiendo bien 😮

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +6

Cuando entras a una tienda y hay mucha gente tienes que "pedir la vez" que sería "pedir tu lugar en la cola", preguntas quien es el último y así sabes luego de quién te toca. Saludos y gracias por tu consulta

The sequence in the store is very confusing. I never had this problem in Spain.
