- Ever wonder what it would be like to fly through Bracken Cave like a bat? We have the closest thing to it!
By scanning the cave we could create a 3D model that allows you to fly through the cave...via video. Enjoy!

If you watch the ground, you'll see dark circles. These are where the camera was located for the scan, so throughout the video there were many different scans that were compounded together.

That building surrounds the guano mining shaft.
@@TXLusterI was going to ask what that was. Looks long abandoned as I believe it's a protected area now.
What is the vertical column between the building and the upper reaches of the cave?

That is a mine shaft to facilitate guano mining back in the day. It actually may have accidentally helped create a better bat habitat.
