Scenic journey on Vista Dome from Guwahati to Haflong, Jatinga Assam... the train goes onwards to Silchar. The stretch outside of Guwahati offers acres and acres of green paddy fields interspersed with water bodies large and small, circled in the distance by green hills. After Lumding, we veer right headed south... is the start of the beautiful hilly stretch, the journey cutting through forested hill slopes, with many tunnels, valleys and hill tops, offering grand scenes of rivers and bridges, intense green forests this monsoon, as we moved fwd in a countryside which is the play ground of clouds, mist and fog....
The song Chaiya Chaiya from AR Rahman and SRK's "Dil Se" with its storyline and backdrop from the Northeast is visualised in this stretch in the movie, but actually shot in Arakku Valley.
