Justice for Greenwood! The survivors are such courageous ladies and they have my full support and prayers. They deserve reparations for all of the heinous injustices that they have endured.
I was glad to hear the justice say this but it shows the continued harm to the victims and their descendants. It's not just the crime but the COVERUP. And the government's counsel wants to say (53:32) that it's "unfortunate" the case wasn't brought before 1985 😤🤬
🤔 Public Nuisance is an improper claim for this case and it appears that it was intentional. Was this obvious frivilous claim a COMPROMISE in exchange for the judgement proclaiming that the Muscogee Creek Nation Inc. can't discriminate against the Freedmen (ultimately allowing them to enroll as full tribal members)? 🕵🏾
Eminent domain is something that was supposed to be justified. However the people who submitted this were also responsible for the location being chosen
This case highlights what happens when racial hatred and jealousy collide to completely obliterate a thriving, successful, independent BLACK community with its OWN institutions. Why this isn’t on list of topics in every K-12 history class is .. an egregious attempt to ERASE this tragedy. My dad (RIP, age 90) made me aware. Bought a brick as a fundraiser YEARSSSSS ago. We must all bear witness for this whole process
The fact that this has been ongoing for more than 100 years is completely unacceptable. Salute to those fighting still.

"I learned about the trail of tears....Greenwood was never mentioned and I think you are all to be commended." Salute

Glad she spoke up with the lack of Greenwood knowledge. The applause should have been for him, though.
How can anyone disagree with this it’s crazy if the shoe was on the other feet we would call it a spade
This is the most cut & dry case for reparations.. the victims & remedies are clear
Grateful
Thanks so much !.
