yo chris ive been subscribed i think for a lil less than a year and i really enjoy watching you try and solve puzzles - but for some reason this reaction video is considered on of my favorites. LOL the main reason being that your reactions were 100% on key with mine and your captured comedic relief of your face was a golden touch. Kudos man.

As he puts the first card on his palm he puts the deck almoust verticaly under the palm and sticks the card between last two fingers gently and then just with movement makes it go up (it's my theory , i could be wrong)

Man, I love it when he tries the cardiistry himself. It humanizes him instead of making him seem like an unattainable ideal, which is what most cardistry/magic videos you see try to do.

I found this channel a little while ago. Yes this video is from a year ago but I wanted to drop in and say I love how genuine Chris' reactions are. I also see something and rewind to see WTF had just happened to find Chris then rewinding the same thing. Such a great add to a downer of any day.

I happened upon you by chance and now have been binge watching. I want to learn card magic and cardistry! So I’m sitting here trying but completely failing and saying okay this is how it goes. I will have to keep trying and I will eventually get it in several months or years. Then I watch this video and you are me right now! This is so satisfying watching you having your mind blown and just wanting to figure it out and then do it. The struggle is real on all levels! Love it!

5:30 or something, it's hard to do, but simple to understand !
He got the card underneath his hand, a corner between index and major and another between pinky and ring finger (you know how to hold a card like that to hide it normally), and then, he release the index/major corner, and twist his pinky a little bit to give movement to the card, he then do a little "circle" with his hands to pass under the card.
I think that's how it's done, maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not ^^

The trick which he puzzles about at @5:24 is a vid played backwards. The card that's being shot in the deck is actually being shot in his hand, that why the card is being bend after it lands in the deck. That was bending to shoot it to the hand. It also explains the card that is coming from the back of his hand, which is just going to the back instead of coming from it.

It's still great hand control, but also a bit of help from editing :)

5:01 ‼️‼️‼️ the explanation is right there! The deck of cards are vertical next to his hand, so he placed it under his little finger whilst you’re watching the obvious card in hand, once he throws the card he then flips the other card from his little finger round to his hand‼️

I get that it's skill and manipulation and all, but there's a line between just waving cards around in a pretty way and making cards appear out of thin air. We have a word for that, it starts with an "m". And doing both at once is amazing.
Also, it's a little reassuring to see your cardistry, because the impression that you have to be a master cardist to do card magic needs to go away. No offense to your mad skills intended.
