Am I the only one who thought it would be cool if they made those air vents propellers loose so they could actually spin when you blow air into the cabin?
Indeed a very beautiful car. Especially on the inside. The attention to detail with regards to the aviation theme is awesome. It's indeed a pity that Spyker didn't included the propeller steering wheel as it would have made the interior complete. The attention to detail is unfortunately less rigorously on other parts unlike for example on the Lamborghini Diablo whom also borrowed parts from "lesser" brands.

THIS is beautiful. Pagani-like with the metal stuff inside and the gear shifter. Also what a beautiful pedalry!
Through the missing entertainment system it will still be like "WOW, what a classic supercar!" in a couple of decades.
Doug is one of the few Automotive channels that can reach the trending page. Its especially crazy that he seems to run it by himself. Soon i see auto giants asking him to test their vehicles and possibly test drive unrealeased cars.....
just like he filmed the new ford gt, right?
he was the first one to get to review the Tesla Model 3
Man, this thing is amazing, I want one!
"It has an Audi V8 engine."
Oh, never mind.
~Starts it up~ - Well, wait a minute, now...
Doug DeMuro, teaching people how to steal exotic cars since 2013.
Ok
Ok

Who else is here to see how much Doug has changed from both the Spyker reviews?
>when doug describes a car as "the quirkiest" *in the title*
*_STRAP YOURSELVES IN BOYS, SHIT'S ABOUT TO GET REAL._*
HellJustFroze lol
LOL stop at 12:52 the owners manual actually says "You can now consider yourself a member of a small, privileged group."
So privileged, much white male. REEEE
Calvin Junge I saw a ton on a video of a spyker car show in Mexico
Doug, if you can get your hands on the Chiron we would all really appreciate that
LOVE that you have footage of this car in motion from outside! You should do this to more of your fantastic reviews!!
I never knew how beautiful this car was. That shifter is just amazing!
I want the car just for that alone
Doug the type of guy to have 30 minute TH-cam videos and still get views.
StrangeClouds because they are good idiot fat you look like a girl that goes to swimming without a bag
waleed_khan waleed speak with a language we understand
StrangeClouds and makes a whole lot more than your dumbass
Patrick Murphy You'd be surprised
waleed_khan waleed Did I say his videos were bad dumbass?
Doug, is the type of guy that never drives the cars over 40 mph or it voids his car revue insurance policy that has allot of quirks and features...
This is probably my favourite car you've ever reviewed.
This car does NOT look 10 years old. It looks like it was made in 2016, but the creator's wanted to give it a classic 1950s aesthetic interior, while maintaining the sports car exterior.
3:59 this "airplane propeller" looks to me like two brunch-knifes put together. But nevertheless, this car is beautiful and crazy :)
what the hell is a brunch knife?
brunch-knives? really??? would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?
That's literally an aircraft propeller but whatever...
Misuse of the word 'literally'. If it 'literally' was an aircraft propeller, IT WOULD LITERALLY BE AN ACTUAL AIRCRAFT PROPELLER.
Yeah but that's what it LITERALLY IS! A MINIATURE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER. WHY ARE WE SCREAMING?
Doug on a date:
"What are your quirks and features?"
I can hear this comment
"Let me check out the back!"
The best part is that he's married now
This thing is endlessly fascinating. Very odd, but actually unconventionally smart. I like almost all the quirky features.
Oh man, whenever i hear "quirks and features" my heart skips a beat.
No airbags... we die like men!
Yes!
Gearhead Daily Hahahahahahahahahahaha
It truly follows the airplane theme because I don't think planes have airbags.
Gearhead Daily not gonna lie.... airbags saved my life, super happy they exist. But on this? It’d be a damned crime
Steering wheel to the throat?
It would be funny if that little propeller on the front could spin in the wind as the car moved forward... XD
/M0ther_bra1ned/ Yes!
*"Do or Undo, there is no try!"*
Almost sounds like something Yoda could've said XD
So awesome to see my baby trending. Fantastic job on the review, Doug! I'm amazed by your attention (and retention) to all the details I threw at you.
urgetodrive Nice drive dude! Geniet ervan!
Love your car, I am in total awe!
urgetodrive one of the most interesting cars I have ever seen .
Not my proudest fap, sir
YOU, Sir, are a Boss.
Am I the only one who thought it would be cool if they made those air vents propellers loose so they could actually spin when you blow air into the cabin?
Beautiful car, looove the aviation theme with all the switches, great find! Very entertaining keep it up!
Exodarion lol
and its dutch ;)
Looks like an mix between Maserati and Aston Martin
Indeed a very beautiful car. Especially on the inside. The attention to detail with regards to the aviation theme is awesome. It's indeed a pity that Spyker didn't included the propeller steering wheel as it would have made the interior complete. The attention to detail is unfortunately less rigorously on other parts unlike for example on the Lamborghini Diablo whom also borrowed parts from "lesser" brands.
Blow him already would you 😂
6:13 Yes, I recognize them. It’s the bus brake lights and turn signals.
This car is truly something else. I've seen these spykers before and loved the looks, but this is spectacular. This video may have become my new favorite car. Thank you Doug
I will say this without any guilt, when Doug says “Now lets take it for a drive”, I click off the video, as I shamelessly come here only for the quirks.
Same.
BlakeBiundo You are not alone
You are not alone bröther
Me too, I love his cahnnel but I'm only interested in the quirks and features
You gotta watch doug fo the whole package 😉
All I heard was aluminium and propeller.
* And leather :-)
A loo menam
all yew mini ulm
Such a stupid pronunciation
Allan Francis Xavier
How did you hear aluminium when americans say aluminum? lol..
Too many letters I guess, can`t say aluminium, can`t say nuclear, always with "dem darr nukilar bomms made uf aloominam"
Durrka durpa derp MURCAH!
Going back to old Doug videos are awesome
>tells viewers the owner lives in san diego
>tells viewers the owner leaves the car unlocked
>is probably the only Spyker C8 in the city
Anyone want to buy one of these off me? I'll have it soon, it's Dark green. $250k obo
Zephyr I want ur cocky
Zephyr this kind of car owners have more than 1 car. I doubt he leaves it on a wall mart parking lot. If he leaves the car it will probably behind a gate or at some other form of guarded parking
if you're rich, you only drive it to and from your estate to others' estates. everything else gets a chauffeur or an errand boy to accomplish.
Zephyr get the f out with that shit meing
Zephyr your probably some lazy ass dude with huge potential robbing other people
Even the plastic used in the car is made of aluminum..😉
Pim Battjes no it was a compliment
Exclude the cheap plastic-chrome VW door handle opening the trunk! Should be aluminum as well!
Now THIS is the kind of obsession to detail and "at no expense" quality I would expect in a car called exotic and priced in the 3 digits.
B-Wulf 3 digits? This car is less than a thousand dollars?
Ack, I meant 6 digits
B-Wulf,
Yeah right... borrowing parts from other cars, screams "at no expense"... please.
Oh yeah... and a superficial "sport mode"...
This brings back so many TDU memories back... 😢
dude... YES! someone knows!!!
New one announced, check it out 😉
@@Crypto2638 Lol I’ve been following it since last year.
That interior is gorgeous
Would buy that car just for the interior - it could be as fast as my civic and I would not care at all. SO MANY SWITCHES! :D
Doug didn’t start the video with THIS IS THE
Eli Collins *GASP*
AGAIN
But the column on autotrader.com/oversteer is always there ;)
19:49 "You'd never know it was there unless you knew it was there"
I have never heard of spyker, but now that I see one I'm in love. This is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.
It's an aeroplane on wheels. That's why you're exposed, that's why the side windows look how they look, and that's why there aren't any visors. You're supposed to wear goggles.
Yes , your right everything about the car has something to do with airplanes and I guess the owner was very passionate about airplane , I am an aviator so yeah I would love to own a car like that😁
@@clintbrit1987 R u Hillary or Bill?
Imagine trying to maintain this car...
seriously... just try.
it would probably be like trying to maintain a small aircraft in difficulty. Which almost seems like a feature
I don’t know who you are I don’t know what you post but I saw the verified check and I’ll invest
laowhy86 I watch your videos.
C-milk! Duude I love your videos!
Idk what information you heard, but the C8 is the love child between all of the VW owned manufacturers. It reuses a lot of parts, like the Diablo taillights, and a lot of the running gear parts are reused also. The only thing making it tedious would be the engine covering.
I like this car more and more every time I look at one. Also, it is true that the soft top looks terrible
I hope he reviews this car in 6 years
