I did use to listen to him and many other vocalists but not influenced by his style for sure... however I was fond of his music as well as Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan ... but since several years I hardly remember listening to anyone.

I was listening to your video of Nayaki Kanada, and I am trying to figure out if there a sapat way to render taans/sargams. The raag is zig zag. What is the best way to hit all the 6 notes going back and forth for improving taan? If I sing the arohie and avrohie without pauses, it sounds very distorted. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.
