Not true. Drinking in public is banned in many public areas but it's down to the local authorities to decide whether to implement it or not, they aren't obliged to. Outside of towns and cities you're fine though

@@LiamEshikari yes. Unless, as I just stated, a local authority imposes restrictions by way of a public space protection order, then, funnily enough, it becomes illegal. As I've just explained it's not a blanket ban and local authorities are free to impose restrictions where they wish (Such as city centres)

A lot of people will do it if they're used to wearing a watch or if they did in the past for a while. I do it all the time and I don't wear a watch that often anymore. I will do it when there is no watch on me
