ALERT WAKE UP EVERYONE, ITS AN ENGAGE KMU, WE NEED TO HAVE JITARO TIER BACK
Emblem Veronica summoning into 3 star Archer or 4 star Sniper (Jitaro) will go crazy
It’s gonna be so PEAK
Return to being a mercenary how? The only surviving members of the Greil Mercenaries are Ike and his sister
Fire Emblem: The Lonely Mercenary
Tbf Ike could handle that and Titania + Soren get some plot immunity
Ike is a one-man army anyway
Ike: my journey is over
Sequels: oh no it isn't
Congratulations excelblem on being the only person in history to keep Mist alive in an Ironman run
The way it’s HIM too of all people
I know right @@OrigamiAhsoka
The last note of god shattering star signaling the engage kmu
erm ackshully it's the first note 👆🤓
I love how that note is that specific, that you can tell the track just from that one note. :D
And now i've got the track sgtuck in my head again...
oops yeah the first note
Ike was the anti-marth in the end, he activated Aether to avoid Excelblem's supreme victory
The Engage KMU teaser at the end 😮
Sephiran seems like such a nice fellow. I hope that he isn't a centuries old genocidal were-Heron
289.99 dollars/10 we ascended from 20 DOLLLARS
We now gonna be on FIRE with the following amazing EMBLEM by going on our RADIANT DAWN
Can't wait for the next step into insanity that we'll get with the Engage KMU.
Sephiran isn't happy Ike saved the world, he's happy he didn't get his kills stolen by Ashnard
"Story was good for its time"
The last time technology truly inhibited a game telling its story was like 1995
The general quality of writing has gone up, though, as the medium has become considered more equal to others while before it had not
@@NihilTruth You could just as easily argue that the corporatization of the industry has driven the quality back down again. Of the franchises I've followed since the 90s, almost none of them are at an all-time high writing-wise, Fire Emblem most definitely included
@@thekiss2083exactly Geneology, 1996 I believe had a lot of his story cut from the game. Other thing is what happened to Wind Waker due to needing the game asap.
More recently we had the great ace attorney duology in 3DS that was a duology because everything couldn't fit in one 3DS game.
Stories don't just spawn from the aether with no connection to what came before, either on a metafictional or practical level.
@@thekiss2083that's not a particularly reasonable metric to measure overall industry trends. Game franchises that have persisted since the 90s are a fraction of the overall market- not only have gsnerally much better franchises spawned in the decades since, but most franchises that are nearly 20-30 years running can't really reasonably be expected to be in their prime- would we reasonably expect the Simpsons to be still in its prime when its been exhausting material for decades?
And I mean by what metric can you reasonably measure whether games have 'gone back down' in narrative quality overall? Exceptional story games still come out all the time- Red Dead 2 certainly came out in the current era of more 'corporatized' games and yet its easily a universally accepted contendor for one of the best narratives of all time. Or if you mean that more bad narrative games are coming out, I'd say that that's always rather been the case: even in my personal favorite era of game narratives, the early-mid 2010s, you could easily see that the most high-profile games were still total stinkers in terms of storytelling- all the First Person Shooters that defined the mainstream in that era were total shlock, and even games like GTA5 were extreme narrative dissapointments.
Sephiran: “Hey Ike, let’s have another KMU of the next available game you star in! That game is-wait…I don’t remember. Can you help me?”
Ike: “We can-“
Sephiran: “No, we need to have another KMU! Help me! What’s the next available game you star in?”
Ike: “Radiant Dawn?”
Sephiran: “No, that’s not your next readily available game!”
Ike: “Radiant Dawn?”
Sephiran: “You have to know its name!”
Ike: “Ra-“
Soren: “Emblem…ENGAGE!”
Sephiran: “Great work! Now we can hold another KMU! I hope everyone in Elyos likes dying again!”
considering how the archive streams for radiant dawn ended, a half-empty transfer file sounds about right
ENGAGE KMU LETS GO
Knowing that Excelblem will be killing even more units in a modern Fire Emblem soon fills you with Determination!
Bro really grinding his L.O.V.E. up in here.
OH SHIT ENGAGE KMU SOOON BOIS
Ilyana taking 2nd place. We winnin’ Lads!
Ilyana supremacy
Glad you enjoyed PoR
Difficulty and some balancing hold this game from greatness but still my favorite
I gotta say, this was a super entertaining run😃! I have basically no experience with Tellius, and excel seemed to take a more methodical approach this time. It made the gameplay more interesting to watch and listening to the commentary more captivating.
I can't believe he didn't even mention Ena's... questionable... pregnancy
She's a dragon. They aren't prolific. Multi-year pregnancies is clearly why. :p
More and more do I feel fortunate for buying a copy of Path of Radiance (case, manual, and game) off of eBay back in the day for around 40 USD, before the price skyrocketed.
the ending got me so dam excited
Remember: PoR didn't kill the franchise, but Radiant Dawn nearly did, by releasing at the same time as Super Mario Galaxy (and being an impenetrable game).
Or we can blame the DS games, but is that fair?
The ultimatum for Awakening was "sell as much in japan as the last game or die" which iirc would've killed the franchise had it gone back to Tellius tier numbers so nah it wasn't really the DS games by themselves which sold more. The threat of termination was only terrifying at the time due to the 3DS' install base being tiny and not because of the sales numbers that they were asking.
THE FUCKING GOD SHATTERING STAR INTRO AT THE END FREAKED ME OUT, ENGAGE KMU LET'S GOOOO
Oh no, he's gonna play the Fell Xenologue on Maddening. XD
The turn counts are genuinely hilarious because they’ll jump from like 2 to 928 back and forth
Legitimately disappointed that it doesn't show kill count for dead units, I want to know just how hard Neph carried
Guys should we bring back the jitaroists part 2 since its a kmu?
I have to say the tellius enemy phases are truly a thing about this game I use to do other, more productive things.
I legit forgot Ashnard's dragon was a Laguz lmfao
Ah. An Engage KMU. I was sure we'd go straight into Radiant Dawn
"killing everything on enemy phase with one character"
You mean using the strat known as **Seth Emblem : The Sacred Seth** ?
Radiant dawn run now?
He hinted at the end that he's going to do an Engage KMU soon. But, I imagine he will play Radiant Dawn sooner rather than later
I made a clay mask that looks like nel dragon form, pls let her lived through the end(its not gonna work but atleast i tried)
Despite Ike blundering away the lives of all his units, Sephiran's remark of "may the Goddess ride with you..." carries the exact same subtext.
Jokes on you, I still got my copy from when the game first came out!
We’ll never know how much wins Nephenee have gotten 😢
Radiant Dawn when?
Transfer the file anyway
TH-cam keeps deleting my comments.
TH-cam hates luigis
@@Pablo_Martin_aaNahhhh I just keep reporting him tbh
Dude's really gonna skip a radiant dawn iron man? I thought it was the natural step after path of radiance. :(
HAH I only payed 129 for my copy of fe9
Path of Radiance has one of my favorite stories but because hard is too easy and maniac just has bulky enemies I find the gameplay insanely boring
Uses exploits to cheese the game and then comments on it not being that difficult
