Things I’ve noticed: 1. That’s a dot matrix display, and as such, it can display pretty much ANYTHING in red, yellow or green 2. The display is programmed to both “shrink-to-fit” and “center align” the numbers. When the 1 in the hundreds place is visible, the other two digits shrink slightly to properly fit themselves within the borders of the LED matrix. And when the countdown reaches the single digits, it center aligns them so that they can expand to take up the entire matrix. 3. The red and green lights are smiley faces. Why they did this, I have no idea, but hey, I guess they want their citizens to be happy while driving, so that’s one way to do it!
Yes. It is a dot matrix countdown timer. In the Philippines, we use segmented timers. e.g: 88, 188, 888 (common in Thailand as well) and 8 (rare in PH but common in Malaysia).

For number 3, it is just the camera. I have no idea why it looks like that.
The amber/yellow light caused the dot matrix countdown timer to say "STP". What if it said "STOP NOW"?
