I've heard that the reason Voltron's story is kinda meh towards the end is because someone high up wanted Shiro to not die in season 3... I wish they had kept the original story plan. Keith was supposed to step up and be a leader and bond with everyone else. Maybe then we would have gotten Klance as canon?
