@Burhan Haroon When we learn something, we all fell and got hurt until we succeed. So what; if you got hurt more times than any others, maybe that's what you have to go through. You have your own destiny, but if you really want to question the "What if" then my question would be. Have you truly reflect on your own patterns and decisions before assuming that you will be hurting again? Mistakes are our reminders no matter what scenario it is, it's our job to recognise them. Also, we don't ever adpat to expect the wall has become softer, but we adapt to become stronger that this wall can no longer harm us even if we unfortunately come across it again. Rain doesn't stop because you want to, but you can always hold an umbrella to protect yourself from rain. If it isn't enough then use a rain coat too, if it's still not enough then stay in the house and wait for the next rain. I miss and still love the rain(relationship) that I came across, but it doesn't mean I should be soaked and become sick; wait for another rain that's more suitable. Treat yourself better, find ways for yourself first; you know yourself better than anyone. We all love to victimise ourself so we aren't guilty of what we went through but mate, that isn't how life is meant to be. Until then you will know how to be in the rain without getting yourself wet. Well she ended things before her bday and went back to the ex boyfriend they wanted her to get back with. I had so many things already planned for us and this is probably the hardest one to let go. I felt more for her in 7 months then I felt with a girl for 5 years. I'm definitely wishing they could've seen that I was trying to be better for her. My god, is it a mistake to be listening to these songs.. Rubbing an open wound, feeling all the exposed nerves. But damn, sometimes I need to, so I feel the music inspire me that it is meaningful.. I started woodworking, volunteering for two different charity shops, I try to socialise more with coworkers (at work obviously given lockdowns) and I got a new, second job to keep me busy, I also quit drinking 3 months ago because it was too painful to evoke those emotions via alcohol. So I’m trying. But she never leaves my thoughts, even when I try so hard to distract myself, god I wish I didn’t miss her so much.

Sounds like a one way relationship to some extent. I don't know the truth of your relationship, the circumstances or who either of you are but if others who do know you much more closely in real life feel the same way, then maybe there's something to that. It might be hard to let go but if you feel that you're putting in all of the effort to keep the relationship going and they're ghosting you or not trying, maybe they no longer feel the same or worst case, are leading you on. Either way, one of you or possibly both aren't happy with how things currently are. Tell them how you feel and if they recognise your pain and try to be there more for you, awesome! If they don't, maybe it's time to call it off. Take everything I said with a HUGE grain of salt though, have to stress that again, I do not know the relationship, the circumstances or the people involved and these things are very complex so general advice doesn't always work. Regardless, speaking with them about concerns you have and listening to some concerns they may have, is the best bet. Look after yourself and good luck.

You have your own destiny, but if you really want to question the "What if" then my question would be. Have you truly reflect on your own patterns and decisions before assuming that you will be hurting again? Mistakes are our reminders no matter what scenario it is, it's our job to recognise them. Also, we don't ever adpat to expect the wall has become softer, but we adapt to become stronger that this wall can no longer harm us even if we unfortunately come across it again.
Rain doesn't stop because you want to, but you can always hold an umbrella to protect yourself from rain. If it isn't enough then use a rain coat too, if it's still not enough then stay in the house and wait for the next rain. I miss and still love the rain(relationship) that I came across, but it doesn't mean I should be soaked and become sick; wait for another rain that's more suitable. Treat yourself better, find ways for yourself first; you know yourself better than anyone. We all love to victimise ourself so we aren't guilty of what we went through but mate, that isn't how life is meant to be. Until then you will know how to be in the rain without getting yourself wet. There's always a way but have you learnt? There will always be more solutions than problems in life.

Though, we can always find ways to become the best version of ourself by recognising and experiencing. Tools are always out there and I hope you find the best one for yourself. Don't be ashamed of where you are heading, the ones in our past put us down only because they are afraid of what we can become; the ones in our future are the ones who appreciate what we have become.
I seeked for professional helps too, it's great that you have the idea of it. Not everyone is lucky enough to be born with a mentor in their life but when you believe you have find one. Make sure you value what's offered.

I started woodworking, volunteering for two different charity shops, I try to socialise more with coworkers (at work obviously given lockdowns) and I got a new, second job to keep me busy, I also quit drinking 3 months ago because it was too painful to evoke those emotions via alcohol. So I’m trying. But she never leaves my thoughts, even when I try so hard to distract myself, god I wish I didn’t miss her so much.

Sounds like a one way relationship to some extent. I don't know the truth of your relationship, the circumstances or who either of you are but if others who do know you much more closely in real life feel the same way, then maybe there's something to that. It might be hard to let go but if you feel that you're putting in all of the effort to keep the relationship going and they're ghosting you or not trying, maybe they no longer feel the same or worst case, are leading you on. Either way, one of you or possibly both aren't happy with how things currently are. Tell them how you feel and if they recognise your pain and try to be there more for you, awesome! If they don't, maybe it's time to call it off. Take everything I said with a HUGE grain of salt though, have to stress that again, I do not know the relationship, the circumstances or the people involved and these things are very complex so general advice doesn't always work.
