She is Arya Stark....but she is also No One. A big part of what made Arya Arya was chipped away and replaced by something else. It becomes even more pronounced when you watch Arya of seasons 1-6 (including the way Maisie portrays her) compared to 7 and 8. Me too. I avoided watching GoT until last year. But I'd heard of Arya and watched a couple episodes with my friends. Then I watched Arya's story on TH-cam and decided I had to watch the whole show.
Arya had literally the 3 most badass quotes of the entire series in just ONE scene: "Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe." "Tell them, The North remembers." "Tell them, Winter has come for House Frey."
And in S8E6 to Yara Greyjoy "If you talk about killing my brother again I will cut your throat"(without making any face and move, seriously deadly, remembering her killing list)) 🤣🤣🤣 that's really astounding - just like Hound describe "cold little b*tch" ..
Yes, both of them have evolved a lot through the show. Would be cool to see the two of them together. Although I do want to see her see The Hound, and hopefully forgive him. He needs to take down The Mountain. That would be satisfying to watch.

sadlobster1 Nymeria was the only Dire Wolf in that pack, all the other wolves were just regular wolves. The Stark Dire Wolves I think are the last of their kind south of the wall.

Well, the first thing is that they are much larger than normal wolves, I think large enough to rival the size of a horse? And secondly, they have some kind of magical powers that they don’t really expand upon. From what I’ve heard from the books, they have a magical connection with all the Stark children, who all dream themselves as their respective wolves.

Arya is one of the great characters ever,because Martin's books and the show have literally made millions of people rejoice in watching a mischievous tomboy grow into a straight up murdering dynamo of a teen-aged girl.. Yes,everyone she aces deserves it and then some,but still the manipulation is brilliant.
At 1:32 when Arya started screaming “Don’t die!” And the screen was blank I thought someone irl was screaming “Don’t die!” And it’s 11 at night and my heart just stopped

The wonderful Maisie Williams made the part of Arya, she was a revelation from the start, every scene she was in was top class because of her natural ability to act and make the part hers. She had no formal training as a actor which I think made her performance even better because she act from the heart and fully took on the part.... you could see from the second season on that Arya was going have a big say in the final shake up of the show.... the producers saw what they had in Maisie..... I only recently took to watching game of Thrones having largely ignored much of the hype surrounding the show during its run but I have been involved in amateur drama for 30 years and I have over those years had the privilege to work with some natural talent like Maisie and even people into their 60s who never acted before.... these people take your breath away with their natural ability to carry a part. Maisie is a pleasure to watch , she's highly intelligent and very grounded..... I would imagine that she is a pleasure to work with because people like her have confidence in spades and work on their own initiative. You really don't have to go much further than Charles Dance ( Lord Tyron) who is a composite professional at acting.... he basically stated that Maisie was an absolute joy to work with and his scenes with as he describes her " That wonderful little girl " were his favourite in his entire spell in GOT. You don't have go any further than him for a reference!.
Yes that pack of wolves would’ve been amazing to have at the battle of Winterfell with a roll of razor sharp dragon glass attached to a vest strap to him so as they’re running their slicing at the whites killing them

what i loved about season 1-5/6 is that you could really have any character set in your mind as the main character and it would work. For me Arya was always the most exciting. now post season 5/6 they're like "yep jons the main character and we made him boring as fuck now too, wtf are you gonna do"

arya is the biggest motivation of me following the show for these seasons and Maisie made the character so alive with her convincing acting.
