Her decision to finish college and going to NCAA is pretty cool. She is playing professional tennis but she is very articulate and a good team person. Not isolated/single purpose like the academy kids
@@CKlu11 She has a ton of friends on the tour and parties with them all the time. Just because she called out that spoiled hack Sakkari doesn't mean anything.
What is so great about this segment is you get to see many facets behind this fiery competitor! Saw her in her 1st season at UVA. She's come a long way and is now giving back. Yeah!
I love how Danielle is relatable to middle class America. Growing up ambitious with a lack of funding does perpetuate mental health issues, this I can empathize with. She’s fearless on court once regardless of how she’s feeling. Love Danielle.
I really enjoyed learning more about Danielle and her journey here. Having seen her only in competition never allowed for much insight into her personal struggles. I can truly say that I will experience her future matches differently after this interview. I wish you blessings and much success Danielle and consider myself among your supporters now.
I never thought I'd not skip even a single second of this segment. Was aware of her humble origins, but not her physical health issues. DC spoke with a lot of heart. Respect!
Yes! She is a total beast! Towards the end she completely dominates her opponents! Look at the sheer power of her arms and her shots! If you see Danielle's strength training it is just scary!!
Oh we've seen 'the real' Danielle Collins. We've heard her, too. I was a real fan. Following her matches over the years, I was esp. locked in this year. But eventually, after too many instances of her being a crude, crass presence on court, I had to stop. Too many times hearing her talk badly to those working the matches (umpires, line judges, ball kids), and then all the times she disrespected opponents, showed 'the real' Collins. Instead of soup, no slams for you!
Interesting insight into the person, but the next lesson and level for her to get to is responsible respect to her opponents, what I've seen is not great.
Her mental health was questioned,if you don't put in the work, she must see a psychologist. She's dealing with depression,it affected her life. She needs to work on her patience, her schedule irritates her,it was a challenge for her to deal with it.She questions the finances,is it a deal breaker, did she make money from sport.💲🚩🆘🎾

good team person? she is rude and entitled to players on the court

No wonder she is feisty! Surmounting Endometriosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis and being one of the top tennis players is commendable. 👍

More respect for her to be so brave and open about this hidden subject. 👏

Amazing player, I admire her strong mental and physical health, no matters with blocks and loses in your life. Go Danielle, go!
terribly strong personality great respect for you Danielle!
So lovely to hear about Danielle mentoring kids and her desire to give back. A real classy lady (even though she goes on court as Danimal 😁).
Wonderful talk. Good to learn more about her. Glad she has various ways to balance, focus and center her self when needed.

She seems not to be supported by a lot of people, but I like they way she is. Keep it up, Danielle! Hope to see you win Grand Slams sometime soon.
I genuinely love and admire her!
