So we have amazing places in Ghana, please Ghanaians let's enjoy what we have, they are tremendous, gorgeous and pleasing to the eye. Shanell thanks for your authentic videos and projecting Ghana our motherland.
@@kofi333 I've known about this place since 2010 when I first went there so the Ministry isn't doing too bad. Sometimes Ghanaians also need to open their eyes, look around and be adventurous instead of waiting for TH-camrs to show you what's in your country
@@kofi333 that's because you're just reading but not comprehending what I wrote. If you make the minimum effort to look for information about the country and places to visit, you would easily have known about this place a long time ago. Too many Ghanaians are often sitting somewhere not making an effort to learn about their own country and blaming others for that.
I grew up in Takoradi and my father used to take me there along with Ekow Erskine who passed away many years ago. I still have fond memories of this place and look forward to going back after 45 yrs.
As per Wikipedia: Cape Three Points is known as the "land nearest nowhere" because it is the land nearest a location in the sea which is at 0 latitude, 0 longitude and 0 altitude (the distance is about 570 km).It marks the western end of the Gulf of Guinea. Did the guy tell you the distance in nautical miles from which you can see light from the current lighthouse?
I'm from the Ashanti region and I so much appreciate all the beauty in the Western, Volta, and Eastern regions. People there are spoilt for options where they can go and chill, destress, breathe in the fresh air, and take in the gorgeous nature after the hustle and bustle.
Actually this is where they drill Ghana’s crude oil you should have added that anyway.Nice Scenery and continue to project interesting places like this in Ghana to the world nice job done Stella
Hi Stella love the old light houses and the history. here in Australia especially where i live on the Central Coast of New South Wales on the east coast between Sydney and Newcastle we have about 5 along that stretch love it Ashley Australia
A study in geology will explain that "continental drifts and platetonics" have shifted the earth from it's original dovetail enclosure. That is : cape three points was once attached to south America and you could guess where the ends of Africa and south America used to connect to each other at one point.
Thank you, Sally, watching your videos all the time encourages me to embark on the projects my mother and I planned before she passed earlier this year. Most of the locations you exhibit are perfect for what I am about to do. Thank you once again.
Wow! I was there in January of this year and it's one of the most beautiful sceneries that I've ever seen. Getting there was not easy though!!😬 Maybe there's a better way that we didn't know about, but the road that we took was very challenging, and it had rained the night before so our van kept getting stuck and we had to help push it numerous times, but it was quite the adventure...but once we got there and saw the view, we knew that it was worth it. I was also surprised that there were no rest spots up there, like bathrooms and places to eat, but I guess they want to maintain the environment in it's natural state as much as possible. How was the ride to get there for you?
At the moment it is remote and there are no alternative routes by road. A trek along the beach from Ɛzile or Kpulisi, maybe ? Or if you have a cruiser/yacht and have your sea legs 😀
Great video. The blue waters along this side of Ghana’s Atlantic Coast is great. September has always brought rains but the difference now is the September rains have become more torrential. Also the coast along this part of the western region gets a lot of rain. I remember when I was in boarding school in Axim area we had more rainy days throughout the year. That is why the vegetation is so green and luscious around where you are visiting compared to Sekondi Takoradi areas of the western region. Kudos to you and your team.
@@Stella-Shanelly i apologise the question about Nsein was directed to Pram [Pram] Accra - there are not any other major secondaries besides Nsein in Axim district. But yes Axim historically has the highest recorded rainfall in Ghana it was part of Ghana's most biodiverse rainforest eco-system However it has receded a bit nowadays. But believe me when it rains in Axim ha ha ha. Here is a question for you though, Stella Shanelly, did you ever get a chance to go to Bɛboawusi in Axim (the island with the lighthouse)? There is also another island, further out to sea, called Sɛyeba very few people go there but i have 😀 Also if i appear troll like it is just i am passionate about Ghana and especially these places ( effectively my backyard). Your coverage of the Western region is so impressive and there is so much to be impressed about in the WR.
