I forgot to mention in the video I'd paint the white undercoat first on the model. Then the day glo orange over it. Could sand some of the orange away revealing that white color a bit to give that look of faded day glo as well
Saw many types with day glo paint as a kid growing up in Christchurch, New Zealand in the 50's and 60's. They were in support of US Antarctic Deep Freeze operations....R4D's, Neptunes, helicopters, Herc's, Globemasters and many more....enjoyed the video. Thank you.
I built a ME 262 model from, if I remember correctly, Revelle, when I was 9yo and used day glow colors. I did that because I had just discovered black lights. That shit was banging back in '82.
