I’m dreaming of a track day soon but want to learn more about getting the best out of the performance of it before I take to that level. I have a ‘10 cayman base to learn track driving. Just did my first beginner day. I was terrible but it was a ton of fun. I need to learn to heel toe like this guy

My R26 is about 260bhp and keeps up with my friends 3.4 Cayman S. So much so that he bought a megane and tuned it to 330bhp and then so have a few other friends in various states of tune. Fantastic bargain track cars that run rings around most things

If you want to fix the excessive body roll H&R do a stiffer anti roll bar set (part 33180-1) and both H&R (29168-1) and Eibach ( E10-72-008-01-22) do stiffer springs for the stock dampers with the Eibach supposedly having been specifically engineered to work with PASM. MLperformance had them at a good price last time I looked.
All this time I thought it was you and Sean in the Cayman. S & J’s voices are literally similar 😬😆. This truth has proper tickled me lol. J took me out in the M4 in the wet, it was very entertaining. Thanks again mark
This was a great watch, have just bought a 987 Boxster and have been enjoying your other videos. I'm just down the road from Bedford and the idea of track day appeals. Have you done any content on what sort of costs are involved?
Bedford track days are around 120-200 depending on what company you book with. Insurance for track can be like 100-200. Assume another 100 for petrol. As far as I know a single track day isn’t g9ing to do too much to the tires or brake unless your are going full on..
Aren’t cars on track so slow and boring… good effort though . I guess you need a euro lotto win to get some serious speed going on … looks fun though … That’s why I stick with bikes! All the best
I know Mark is lucky to have a six speed in his car, but I think a five speed would have better in driving on this track, less shifting, longer legs in each gear.

That Civic was doing well, they are capable of giving you a real run.
Another 2.7 lover here. Maybe the most bulletproof Porsche engine in the modern era. One of the best sounding also.
That had me gripped, enjoyed every lap, had a little chuckle when the white Mini went off-roading at 3:02.

I own 987.2 S 2012 model and I don't mind 2.7 at all if it is .2 model. 3.4 and 2.7 are both fantastic road going fun car for sure!
