It's 2023, and I still keep coming back to this series. The moment right here is one of the reasons I love it so much. I hate it when a relationship seems kinda one-sided, like one is head over heels, and another one just lets it happen. You don't see it here. I just can't express how much I love this show. It feels so much more real than any other BL. Other than Kongpob's dumb little "no homo unless it's Arthit then full homo" speech, I really think this show gets at what an lgbt experience is like in a very subtle way without making the show sad or making it go deep into exploring lgbt trauma. I think it's so special and so rare for media to quietly capture that experience in a way that feels both genuine and uplifting. SOTUS really stands out to me as an exceptional BL for that reason.
